Abstract:
A system and method for selecting audio contents by using the speech recognition to obtain a textual phrase from a series of audio contents are provided. The system includes an output module outputting the audio contents, an input module receiving a speech input from a user, a buffer temporarily storing the audio contents within a desired period and the speech input, and a recognizing module performing a speech recognition between the audio contents within the desired period and the speech input to generate an audio phrase and the corresponding textual phrase matching with the speech input.
Abstract:
A call barring system of mobile phone that applies an intelligent process comprising a first and a second procedures for handling different call barring conditions, wherein the first procedure is used to preset call barring conditions to all the incoming calls and the second procedure is used to recognize caller ID of an incoming call, and bars the incoming call and send a corresponding message back when the incoming call is recognized to meet the call barring condition, and then process the incoming call and store a record thereof into a special directory. Thus, user can check the record and do the necessary later on.
Abstract:
A mortise lock includes a chassis mounted in a mounting hole of a door and an outside handle assembly mounted to a side of the chassis. The outside handle assembly includes an outside spindle having a first end partially received in the chassis and operably connected to at least one bolt of the chassis such that rotation of the outside spindle causes retraction of the bolt. The first end of the outside spindle includes a perimeter groove, forming a fragile portion. An outside handle includes an end securely connected to a second end of the outside spindle to turn therewith. The fragile portion of the outside spindle is broken when an excessive force is applied to the outside handle. Thus, unauthorized opening of the door by forcibly turning the outside handle is prevented. Further, the mortise lock can be easily installed, and the cost of the mortise lock is cut.
Abstract:
A speech input apparatus having a speech input from a user and the method therefor are provided. The speech input apparatus includes a speech template unit providing a plurality of speech templates, an I/O interface outputting and switching the plurality of speech templates to the user to be selected in response to the speech, a speech recognition unit recognizing the speech to provide a result; a database unit storing data; and a search unit searching the database unit for specific data in response to the result.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for speech control is provided. The apparatus includes a speech receiver, a speech recognition engine, and an automatic regulation device. In the method, first, a speech is received. Then the speech is identified to obtain an operating order which is to adjust the quantification set with graduation. The machine's quantification set is automatically regulated by means of the operating order. Last, the regulation of the said quantification set is stopped.
Abstract:
An electric cylindrical lock comprises a chassis, an inner spindle, an inner handle, a latch assembly, an outer handle, and an outer spindle. A tubular seat is mounted around an end of the outer spindle and includes a positioning groove aligned with a slot of the outer spindle. When a solenoid mounted in the tubular seat is energized, a protrusion of a locking plate in the tubular seat is engaged in the positioning groove of the tubular seat to thereby prevent rotation of the outer handle. When the solenoid is inoperable, the lock cylinder is turnable by a key to cause longitudinal movement of the locking plate, thereby disengaging the protrusion of the locking plate from the positioning groove of the tubular seat.
Abstract:
An adapter device for a key-in-lever type lock having at least a mounting plate and an escutcheon includes a disk having a central hole defined therethrough so as to receive screw posts, and a split spindle extending from the mounting plate, the disk having a flange extending laterally from a periphery thereof so as to be engaged with a skirt portion of the escutcheon. The disk further has at least one slot and two holes respectively defined therethrough. Two mounting studs each have a threaded protrusion so as to respectively extend through the two holes and to be fixedly connected to the mounting plate.
Abstract:
An auxiliary lock includes a dead bolt, an interior lock assembly and an exterior lock assembly respectively mounted on two sides of a door. Each of the interior lock assembly and the exterior lock assembly includes a housing, a positioning seat, a lock core seat, and a lock core. A pair of bolts is provided to secure the interior lock assembly and the exterior lock assembly together. A protective cover is mounted to an enlarged end face of the lock core seat of the inner lock assembly to shield bolt heads of the bolts.
Abstract:
In the present invention, a voice input system and a voice input method are provided. The voice input method includes the steps of: (A) initiating a speech recognition process by a first input associated with a first parameter of a first speech recognition subject; (B) providing a voice and a searching space constructed by a speech recognition model associated with the first speech recognition subject; (C) obtaining a sub-searching space from the searching space based on the first parameter; (D) searching at least one candidate item associated with the voice from the sub-searching space; and (E) showing the at least one candidate item.
Abstract:
For improving the drawback of brightness decay of a display due to aging, a memory can be used to store the usage time of each pixel of the display, then based upon the usage time the brightness decay of each pixel of the display can be compensated and accordingly the value for the compensation can be stored in a volatile memory and a non-volatile memory. However, the usage of the non-volatile memory is limited. Hence, the present invention discloses a new approach for storing the data so as to decrease write-in sequence per unit area for the non-volatile memory rather than increasing its storing capacity proportionally.
