Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for activating different features in a mobile communication system, by implementing at least one hot key and a plurality of features; when one or more of said at least one hot key is triggered, a special feature corresponding to the triggered hot key would be selectively activated according to the current time, hence the mobile communication systems is able to use same hot key(s) to activate different features under different time settings. The invention also relates to an apparatus for activating different features in a mobile communication system.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a method of transferring data between two PHS handsets in a short distance, which comprises the steps of registering two PHS handsets in a group, assigning a channel for data communication therebetween, configuring two PHS handsets as a sender and a recipient in the group, establishing a connection between the PHS handsets, causing the sender to send packets as divided data to the recipient, performing a data transfer mechanism to send the packets to the recipient, assembling the actually received packets, inspecting and storing the data in a reference data storage by the recipient, for sharing data therebetween.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a method, which employs a detection control software installed in a dual-mode mobile phone of the GSM network communication system and the low power PHS network communication system, so as to automatically detect the dialing network service area of the best communication rate, when the dual-mode mobile phone enters into a selection mode for automatically switching to the optimized dialing network in a time period, and then dial out via the detected dialing network service area of the best communication rate after a dialing message is received. Thus, the users of the dual-mode mobile phones can enjoy the low communication rate, which will largely reduce the cost of their phone bills.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a method of editing a new interface of a portable electronic device by using a browser in which the new interface is edited with texts and graphs provided on a website associated with a server, which comprises the steps of enabling the portable electronic device to access the Internet and to login the website associated with the server; inputting and editing texts and graphs provided on the website associated with the server through a browser so as to edit a picture frame of the new interface; and downloading the edited interface to a specific folder in the portable electronic device to replace an original interface thereof.
Abstract:
A method of downloading application programs on the editing system platform of an electronic communication apparatus, includes the step of connecting an electronic communication apparatus to the Internet, the step of driving an editing system of a processor of the electronic communication apparatus to define a total area from a memory thereof for use by the application programs to be downloaded from the Internet, for enabling the application programs to be stored in any address within the total area, the step of driving the editing system to directly correct the operating instruction of direct address searching to the correct address when downloading an application program from the Internet and then to search the address after address correction, and the step of using a software interrupt (SWI) to alternate the operating instruction of indirect address searching so as to obtain the desired correct address for the editing system for further indirect address searching operation.
Abstract:
A method for a GSM/CDMA dual-mode mobile phone to control two GSM subscriber identification modules is provided. Without changing hardware of the GSM/CDMA dual-mode mobile phone, the method use a GSM control module to operate a first GSM subscriber identification module, or a CDMA UART driver module and a SIM/UIM driver module connected with each other are built in the CDMA control module. The CDMA URAT driver module is communicated with a GSM device driver layer of the GSM control module through a UART standard, such that the GSM control module is able to control a second GSM subscriber identification module connected to the SIM/UIM driver module. Thus, the GSM/CDMA dual-mode mobile phone is able to control two GSM subscriber identification modules so as to satisfy needs and demands for businessmen and lovers in personal style.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses an electronic device for moving the display position of a screen and a method thereof, which comprises a display device for outputting the screen; a displacement sensor for detecting a displacement of said electronic device to generate a displacement signal; and a processor connected separately to said display device and said displacement sensor, capable of issuing a move instruction according to said displacement signal for moving the display position of said screen.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for zooming image proportion of a mobile electronic apparatus, wherein the mobile electronic apparatus includes an accelerated displacement detector and a display screen and, when the mobile electronic apparatus is moved, the accelerated displacement detector will detect the physical properties of the movement of the mobile electronic apparatus, and then the mobile electronic apparatus will zoom an image displayed on the display screen to a certain proportion according to the physical properties. Thus, the operation of zooming in or out the image on the display screen can easily be achieved by moving the mobile electronic apparatus.
Abstract:
A mobile phone has an encryption module, a decryption module, an antenna, a microphone, a speaker, a main memory, and a memory connector for connecting to an expansion memory. When the expansion memory connects to the memory connector to store a document received from the mobile phone, the encryption module first generates a crypto-key and then encrypts the document into a ciphered document by utilizing the crypto-key. The ciphered document is stored in the expansion memory, and crypto-key is restricted from being stored in the main memory.
Abstract:
A call barring system of mobile phone that applies an intelligent process comprising a first and a second procedures for handling different call barring conditions, wherein the first procedure is used to preset call barring conditions to all the incoming calls and the second procedure is used to recognize caller ID of an incoming call, and bars the incoming call and send a corresponding message back when the incoming call is recognized to meet the call barring condition, and then process the incoming call and store a record thereof into a special directory. Thus, user can check the record and do the necessary later on.
