Systems, methods, and devices for performing channel estimates to address the Doppler Effect in wireless communications are described herein. One aspect of the disclosure provides an apparatus for wireless communication. The apparatus comprises a receiver configured to receive coded data tones during a first symbol over a communication channel. The apparatus further comprises a processor. The processor is configured to estimate a common phase offset and amplitude of the communication channel based on pilot tones received over the communication channel. The processor is configured to determine, prior to decoding, a residual phase offset per data tone based on a phase difference between an estimate of the coded data tones and a reference symbol. The processor is configured to estimate update channel state information of the communication channel based on the determined estimated common phase offset, amplitude, and the determined residual phase offset per data tone.

There is provided a disk drive including a disk drive base, a disk rotatably coupled to the disk drive base, and a spindle motor attached to the disk drive base and configured to support the disk for rotating the disk with respect to the disk drive base. The disk drive further includes a filter component. The filter component includes a filter housing coupled to the disk drive base, and a filter element disposed within the filter housing for filtering disk rotation induced airflow. The filter element includes a coarse section and a fine section. The coarse section has a porosity greater than a porosity of the fine section.

A preservative system and a personal care composition containing that system is provided which includes the preservative combination of a C10-C24 acyl glycinate salt and a hydroxyethyl sulfonate salt. This preservative system is effective against gram negative bacteria, particularly Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

A novel disk drive includes a disk and a spindle motor to which the disk is attached to rotate about an axis of rotation. The disk drive also includes a stationary plate facing and disposed over the disk, wherein the stationary plate includes a plurality of grooves through which rotation-induced air flows from an inlet end to an outlet end. The disk drive also includes a recirculation filter coupled to and immediately adjacent said outlet end of said plurality of grooves.

A method for processing multiple Component Carriers (CCs) to be aggregated for transmission is provided in the present invention, the method comprising the steps of: acquiring a time domain signal of each of the multiple CCs; applying multiple fixed phase rotations respectively to the acquired time domain signal by utilizing phase rotation values in a set of phase rotations, so as to obtain multiple phase rotation versions of each CC; randomly selecting one of the multiple phase rotation versions of each CC to respectively constitute multiple candidate transmission groups, and acquiring an amplitude sum of the phase rotation versions for each of the multiple candidate transmission groups; determining a candidate transmission group having the minimum amplitude sum; and transmitting multiple phase rotation versions in the determined candidate transmission group having the minimum amplitude sum. The present invention substantively provides a general solution capable of minimizing CM/PAPR of aggregated CCs for UL and DL.

Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate utilizing dedicated reference signal in connection with downlink transmissions. A dedicated reference signal can comprise a set of dedicated reference symbols, which are inserted into a resource block in accordance with a specification provided by a dedicated reference signal structure. The dedicated reference signal structure can vary according to a rank utilized in the downlink transmission.

The present invention provides for a slow-release inhibitor that is applied to a metal surface, such as by way of a paint or primer coating, for corrosion control of the metal. An exemplary embodiment of the slow-release corrosion inhibitor includes a water-soluble particle, or pigment, and an organic polymeric film that encapsulates the particle. This water-soluble particle may be either organic or inorganic and, preferably, is non-carcinogenic and non-toxic. An additional water-soluble particle having an encapsulating, organic polymeric film further may be provided along with a water-soluble, organic compound to form the corrosion inhibitor. The polymeric film(s) are of a desired hydrophobicity and permeability to permit, upon interaction of the particle(s) with water, controlled diffusion of particle ions therethrough.

A lock pin-type automobile synchronizer includes a higher gear conical ring (1) and a lower gear conical ring (4) which are arranged at the sides of a sliding gear sleeve (3). A higher gear lock pin (2) is fixed to one side of the higher gear conical ring (1). A lower gear lock pin (5, 6) is fixed to one side of the lower gear conical ring (4). A pin hole corresponding to the higher gear (2) lock pin and the lower gear lock pin (5, 6) is arranged on the sliding gear sleeve (3). The number of lower gear lock pins (5, 6) is higher than the number of higher gear lock pins (2).
