摘要： A liquid injection recording apparatus includes a head having orifices provided to discharge liquid and form flying droplets, and energy generating members for generating energy utilized to form the droplets. Electrical contacts for inputting an electrical signal to the energy generating members are provided on a surface different from a surface in which the orifices are provided. The liquid injection recording apparatus has such liquid injection recording head mounted on a mounting portion on which is provided electrical contacts adapted to be connected to the electrical contacts of the recording head when the recording head is mounted on the mounting portion.

摘要： Provided is an ink jet printing apparatus that receives light from the light emitting part of the ink tank in the light receiving part; on the basis of a result of the light reception, determines an attachment position of the ink tank; and controls the light from the light emitting part to inform the ink tank state, wherein the light emitting part has a plurality of light emitting elements that can respectively emit lights having different peak emission wavelengths. A peak sensitivity wavelength of the light receiving part is in the range not less than 760 nm and not more than 1100 nm; at least one of the plurality of light emitting elements has a peak emission wavelength in the range not less than 760 nm, and at least one has a peak emission wavelength in the range of 400 to 760 nm.

摘要： A package is formed including an ink tank in a bag. A cap is attached to an ink supply port of the ink tank. In the cap including an adsorption material made of zeolite, the adsorption material is arranged in a position in the cap where the adsorption material does not interfere with the ink tank when the cap is attached to the ink tank. By this arrangement, it is possible to adsorb ammonia gas issuing from the ink tank and hold down the amount of ammonia gas that reacts with electrodes of the substrate on the ink tank. Zeolite adsorbs and releases ammonia gas and does not adsorb ammonia gas limitlessly; therefore, it is possible to prevent notable changes in the composition of components of the ink stored.
