    摘要: Provided is an ink jet printing apparatus that receives light from the light emitting part of the ink tank in the light receiving part; on the basis of a result of the light reception, determines an attachment position of the ink tank; and controls the light from the light emitting part to inform the ink tank state, wherein the light emitting part has a plurality of light emitting elements that can respectively emit lights having different peak emission wavelengths. A peak sensitivity wavelength of the light receiving part is in the range not less than 760 nm and not more than 1100 nm; at least one of the plurality of light emitting elements has a peak emission wavelength in the range not less than 760 nm, and at least one has a peak emission wavelength in the range of 400 to 760 nm.

    摘要: An ink container for supplying ink to an ink-jet recording element. The ink container includes a container body, a gas liquid separator, and an exhaust chamber cover. The container body includes an ink chamber and an exhaust chamber through which air is exhausted from the ink chamber. The ink chamber is provided with an ink outlet and an ink inlet. The exhaust chamber is provided with a vent. The gas liquid separator is disposed between the ink chamber and the exhaust chamber. The exhaust chamber cover covers the exhaust chamber. When the outside temperature changes, rate of temperature change of the inner surface of the exhaust chamber cover is slower than that of the inner surface of the container body.
