摘要: An object of this invention is to provide a molded resin product having atmosphere of a quality product as a result of a stereoscopic pattern that is formed on the container surfaces by a simple method such as coating or vapor deposition. Another object of this invention is to provide a surface treatment process for laying a stereoscopic pattern of high quality on the resin surfaces. The molded resin product of this invention comprises a substrate made of a transparent resin, opaque coating film disposed on rear surface of the substrate except for an area set aside for a patterned portion, a transparent resin material disposed in the area set aside for the patterned portion on the rear surface of the substrate, and an opaque reflection coating or a half-reflective coating laminated to the transparent resin material. Under this configuration of the molded resin product of this invention, the patterned portion looks as if it pops up from the rear surface of the substrate. If a half-reflective coating is used, the pattern is visible through the half-reflective coating when the pattern is viewed from the rear surface of the lid of a molded resin product, thus giving atmosphere of high quality to the container.

摘要: In an ink jet printer in which preliminary ejection is performed onto printing paper, unnecessary ink consumption due to the preliminary ejection is suppressed. More specifically, the paper preliminary ejection is designed to be performed only for a printing head of cyan ink. For this cyan ink the longest duration of its non-ejection state, in which the printer can attain high printing quality when restarting printing after continuation of the non-ejection state in the case of not performing the paper preliminary ejection, is shorter than 1.6 seconds of the duration which is necessary for the reciprocal printing. This eliminates the paper preliminary ejection for the printing heads of the other colors of ink, thereby avoiding unnecessary ink consumption due to the paper preliminary ejection performed uniformly for every color of ink.

摘要: The image quality deterioration due to the collection of dots of low-lightness by the preliminary ejection is prevented, in the case of performing the ink ejection for preliminary ejection during the printing onto printing paper. More specifically, the preliminary ejection pattern is set as the pattern 1207, wherein the distance 1215 between cyan dot 1201 of relatively low-lightness and magenta dot 1202 is longer than the distance 1216 between yellow dot 1205 of relatively high-lightness and the cyan dot 1201 nearest the yellow dot among low-lightness colors. To closely form dots of low-lightness that would be perceived as a group of collected dots can be prevented, thereby permitting to perform printing that would not deteriorate the printing quality due to the paper preliminary ejection.

A plurality of first supply openings for supplying the fuel gas into the main combustion channel are distributed in the main combustion channel in a direction away from the pilot combustion channel. Discharging resistance of the fuel gas from each first supply opening due to passage of the oxygen-containing gas is set so as to increase as being distant from the pilot combustion channel.

摘要: A light guide plate has a back face provided with a first light diffusion pattern which tends to get denser according to an increasing distance from a primary light source. The light guide plate has an emission face provided with a second light diffusion pattern covering rate of is the largest at an approximately center portion (particular partial region) of the emission face. The first and second light diffusion patterns consist of a great number of fine light diffusion elements, respectively. Each fine light diffusion element of the second light diffusion pattern has a smaller size as compared with that of the first light diffusion pattern. The emission face of the light guide plate has an effective emission area to provide an emission light which is supplied to an LCD panel or other objects to be illuminated, via a light control member such as prism sheet. The approximately center portion and/or other one or more particular partial regions in the emission face show an intentionally heightened brightness. This enables an image display unit to have an approximately center portion and/or other one or more particular partial regions which display a brightness-emphasized image. Such an emphasis display technique is suitably applied to devices such as digital still cameras or digital video cameras which employ image-screen-center-portion focusing.□
