    摘要: A fluorescence detection apparatus for differentiating an object containing a fluorescent substance by detecting fluorescence emitted by the fluorescent substance, which apparatus includes: an excitation light source which emits ultraviolet light that excites a fluorescent substance; a light detector for detecting fluorescence; and an optical guiding system consisting essentially of a single glass block of an angular columnar shape having: an incidence face located on a side of the glass block, through which the ultraviolet light enters; a reflection and emission face constituted by an inclined face, from which the incident ultraviolet light reflects toward the object, and through which florescence emitted from the object passes toward the light detector; and a detection face at the bottom of the glass block facing the object, through which the ultraviolet light exits and hits the object, and through which florescence emitted from the object enters, thereby allowing for reduction in the size of the apparatus, easy positioning of the glass block, and minimizing the effects of object vibration.

    摘要: A centrifugal blower wheel is provided with forward-curved multi-blades comprising a pair of end rings, a plurality of blades and a disk. By separating the blades into "vane members" which assume the function of a fluid device and "vane attachment members" which assume the function of a high speed rotating device, there is a greater degree of freedom of design, so optimum materials and shapes can be assigned to these different functions. The end rings, vane attachment members and disk are therefore constructed of metal and provided with beads so as to give a highly rigid structure, while the vane members are constructed of non-metal. This makes it possible to provide a blower wheel which is more lightweight and quieter in operation than a conventional blower wheel.

    摘要: A temperature sensing element includes a thermistor composed of Si-base ceramics and a pair of metal electrodes bonded onto the surfaces of the thermistor. The metal electrodes contain Cr and a metal element α having a Si diffusion coefficient higher than that of Cr. A diffusion layer is formed in a bonding interface between the thermistor and each metal electrode, the diffusion layer including a silicide of the metal element α in a crystal grain boundary of the Si-base ceramics. A temperature sensor including the diffusion layers is provided. Owing to the diffusion layers, the temperature sensor ensures heat resistance and bonding reliability and enables temperature detection with high accuracy in a temperature range, in particular, of from −50° C. to 1050° C.
