    摘要: In aspects of the present disclosure, a user equipment receives inter-NodeB multi-point transmissions, and a multipoint aggregation component detects a gap in the sequence numbers, delays transmitting a not acknowledged signal (NAK) by starting a NAK delay timer, and transmits, by a transceiver, NAK for the gap in sequence numbers in response to the NAK delay timer expiring and detecting that the gap has not been filled during the delaying. If the Medium Access Control (MAC) entity as the respective NodeB identifies itself to the Radio Link Control (RLC), out-of-order delivery (skew) can eventually be distinguished from genuine data loss before the NAK delay timer expires based upon tracking the highest sequence numbers received. Adaptive NAK delay timer can be performed by monitoring skew duration.

    摘要: A communication system is disclosed in which a mobile terminal having limited power is able to communicate with a land-based network via a low-rate satellite communication link. To achieve VoIP communications via a low-rate link, link-layer assisted zero-header header compression techniques are employed to reduce VoIP packet overheads. Additionally, overheads introduced by link layer protocol layers are eliminated or reduced. A transmitting device strips RTP/UDP/IP header information from a stream of VoIP packets. The transmitting device then sends an initial context message providing the RTP/UDP/IP header information. The stripped zero-header VoIP packets are then transmitted via a satellite relay. A receiving device uses the initial context information to reconstruct the headers for the zero-header VoIP packets.

The install factory takes a variety of inputs to build a custom installation package.
