Abstract: An integrated access and backhaul (IAB)-donor node in an IAB network determines a scheduling bias associated with a radio link control (RLC) channel (CH) between a parent IAB node and at least one child IAB node and sends the scheduling bias to the parent IAB node. The integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node in the IAB network, sends information, used to determine a scheduling bias used to schedule a radio link control (RLC) channel (CH), to an IAB-donor node, receives, responsive to sending the information, the scheduling bias from the IAB-donor node, and schedules at least one of time resources or frequency resources, using at least in part the scheduling bias, to transmit PDUs on the RLC CH to at least one child IAB node.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a parent node may configure first and second backhaul radio link control (RLC) channels based on requests received from a first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) donor central unit (CU) and a second IAB donor CU, respectively. The parent node may select first and second logical channel identifiers for the first and second backhaul RLC channels, the second logical channel identifier being different from the first logical channel identifier, and may provide the first and second logical channel identifiers to the first IAB donor CU and the second IAB donor CU, respectively. The parent node may receive a packet including either the first logical channel identifier or the second logical channel identifier, and process the packet based on which of the first and second logical channel identifiers is included in the packet. Abstract: When moving within an area covered by an Integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network, a mobile IAB node may come into proximity with another stationary or mobile IAB node that may have a same physical cell identifier (PCI) as the mobile IAB node. PCI collision issue may occur. Aspects presented herein address the possible PCI collisions. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be an IAB node configured to determine a configuration associated with PCI management of a PCI of the IAB node. The apparatus may be further configured to change the PCI of the IAB node based on the determined configuration.

Abstract: Aspects relate to a soft physical cell identifier (PCI) change within a wireless network. A scheduling entity may communicate with a set of one or more scheduled entities within a first cell utilizing a first PCI. The scheduling entity may determine that a second PCI of a second cell co-located with the first cell has been assigned to the scheduling entity, for example, as a result of a PCI collision. The scheduling entity may implement a soft PCI change from the first PCI to the second PCI during a transition period within which the set of one or more scheduled entities may be transferred from the first cell to the second cell. The scheduling entity may then discontinue using the first PCI after completion of the transition period.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An access node may establish a signaling connection (e.g., an F1 connection) with a first central unit (CU) and establish a radio resource control (RRC) connection with a second CU, where the signaling connection may be used for backhauling of communications for user equipments (UEs) served by the access node. The first CU may transmit to the access node a first indication associated with suspension of the backhauling of the communications via the signaling connection. Additionally, the first CU may transmit to the second CU a second indication that indicates the suspension of the backhauling of the communications via the signaling connection. As such, the second CU may transmit to the access node, a third indication that indicates for the access node to release backhaul resources for support of the communications associated with the UEs based on receiving the second indication.
