    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device such as a UE or a base station may implement one or more listen before talk (LBT) techniques. The wireless device may determine to transmit a communication during a transmission time interval on multiple subbands of a radio frequency spectrum band. The wireless device may identify whether the transmission time interval is during a channel occupancy time for the base station for a first set of subbands of the multiple subbands. The wireless device may perform one or more LBT procedures based on the identification. For example, the wireless device may perform an LBT procedure that is selected for each subband based on identifying that the transmission time interval is during the channel occupancy time for the first set of the subbands. The wireless device may transmit the communication based on a result of the LBT procedures.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating opportunistic CSI for sidelink communication are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a responding sidelink UE includes receiving, from an initiating sidelink UE, a request to provide CSI feedback to the initiating sidelink UE, the request excluding a CSI-RS. The example method also includes decoding a transmission from the initiating sidelink UE to a neighboring sidelink UE, the transmission including a CSI feedback trigger. The example method also includes transmitting, to the initiating sidelink UE, a CSI report based on the transmission.

The UE may perform frequency retuning in association with hopping from a first set of frequency resources, associated with transmitting a first uplink transmission, to a second set of frequency resources, associated with transmitting a second uplink transmission, during operation at the SCS, wherein the frequency retuning is performed during a set of consecutive unallocated resources determined based at least in part on the amount of time between uplink allocations that is needed for performing frequency retuning. A user equipment (UE) may receive sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set configuration information that indicates an aperiodic SRS resource set, an aperiodic downlink reference signal resource associated with the aperiodic SRS resource set, and a slot offset associated with the aperiodic downlink reference signal resource. The UE may receive downlink control information indicating that the aperiodic SRS resource set is triggered and determine a quasi co-location assumption for the aperiodic downlink reference signal resource based on the slot offset associated with the aperiodic downlink reference signal resource. The UE may measure the aperiodic downlink reference signal resource in a slot indicated by the slot offset based on the quasi co-location assumption.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related monitoring the start of a transmission opportunity (TXOP) in unlicensed or shared frequency bands are provided. In one embodiment, a first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a first configuration including a set of first control channel monitoring periods outside of a TXOP. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device, a communication signal during the TXOP based on a second control channel monitoring period longer than each of the first control channel monitoring periods.     Abstract: The present disclosure describes various aspects of the implementation and design of Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) in 5G new radio (NR) applications. Aspects include methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable medium for one or more of multiple PDCCH search spaces, control resource block (CRB), irregular multiple slots or mini-slots grants, or fast control channel signaling for grant-free uplink (UL). For example, different scheduling entities can each have one or two search spaces defined (e.g., common and/or user equipment (UE)-centric search spaces). Also, CRBs can be used as units for PDCCH transmission instead of resource element groups/control channel elements (REGs/CCEs). In addition, irregularities in time domain, frequency domain, or both can be introduced in the granting of resource blocks (RBs) over multiple slots or mini-slots. Moreover, signaling can be used to indicate to a UE configured for grant-free UL the portion of the pool of resources available for grant-free UL.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for facilitating sidelink cancellation. A network entity, such as a base station, may schedule a sidelink transmission between a transmitting wireless communication device and a receiving wireless communication device and transmit scheduling information for the sidelink transmission to at least the transmitting wireless communication device. The network entity may further transmit control information including a cancellation indication to at least the transmitting UE. The cancellation indication may indicate at least an overlap between a portion of the resources allocated to the sidelink transmission and an additional transmission. Based on the cancellation indication, the transmitting wireless communication device may modify the sidelink transmission.
