Abstract: A scanned antenna (1000) is a scanned antenna including antenna elements (U) arranged together, the scanned antenna comprising: a TFT substrate including a first dielectric substrate (1), TFTs, gate bus lines, source bus lines, and patch electrodes (15); a slot substrate (201) including a second dielectric substrate (51), and a slot electrode (55) formed on a first primary surface of the second dielectric substrate; a liquid crystal layer (LC) provided between the TFT substrate and the slot substrate; and a reflective conductive plate (65) arranged so as to oppose a second primary surface of the second dielectric substrate (51) with a dielectric layer (54) interposed therebetween, the second primary surface being on an opposite side from the first primary surface. The TFT substrate (TFT substrate portion (101Cb)) includes a terminal region (TR) outside of the seal portion (73), and the gate bus lines or the source bus lines are connected to gate terminal portions or source terminal portions formed in the terminal region via a transparent conductive layer (14b) provided between the seal portion (73) and the TFT substrate.

Abstract: An antireflection structure is disclosed which is capable of enhancing designability by adjusting a reflection characteristic of a Moth-eye structure. A display device using the antireflection structure is also disclosed. The antireflection structure according to an embodiment includes a resin base member including, on a surface, an uneven structure in which a height from a bottom part to a top part is equal to or smaller than a visible light wavelength, and a resin layer covering at least a part of the uneven structure, the resin layer covering the bottom part of the uneven structure more thickly than the top part of the uneven structure.

Abstract: A laminated printed matter is provided which is less likely to cause apparently white-tinged images and capable of restraining a decrease in image quality of the printed matter. The laminated printed matter includes a printed matter and an anti-reflection film. The anti-reflection film is attached to a viewing side surface of the printed matter. The laminated printed matter is provided with a frame-like region having a lower light transmittance than an anti-reflection surface of the anti-reflection film on an outer edge. Preferably, the anti-reflection film has, on a viewing side surface thereof, an anti-reflection structure with multiple protrusions disposed at a pitch not greater than the visible light wavelength.

Abstract: An optical stack for a display device includes multiple layers that are incorporated into a display device that further includes a display panel. The optical stack includes a resin layer, an alignment film, an optical compensation layer, a polarizer, and a hard coat layer that are stacked in this order from a panel side. The optical stack is formed by preparing and coating a solution for each layer, and then curing and otherwise treating each layer as warranted for a particular layer, in turn to form the optical stack.
