摘要： Disclosed is a method for transmitting a channel signal in a base station of a mobile communication system which scrambles a common channel signal using a primary scrambling code for identifying the base station. The method comprises determining an identifier (ID) of a secondary scrambling code, upon receipt of a dedicated channel assignment request from a mobile station; transmitting the determined ID of the secondary scrambling code to the mobile station and awaiting a response; upon receipt of a response message from the mobile station, generating a primary scrambling code and a secondary scrambling code using an ID of the primary scrambling code and said ID of the secondary scrambling code; and scrambling a common channel signal using the primary scrambling code, scrambling a dedicated channel signal using the secondary scrambling code, and transmitting the scrambled channel signals.

摘要： A terminal apparatus is provided for receiving a broadcast service from a broadcasting system. A receiver receives a notification message from the broadcasting system. A message parser parses the notification message received by the receiver according to a certain format. A controller determines whether the received notification message is a notification message to be used by a user or a notification message to be used by the terminal based on content of the notification message parsed by the message parser, and performs an operation according to the determination result.

摘要： A first terminal subscribes to at least one service using a service guide in which information necessary for reception of each service is stored, and sends the service guide and an identifier (ID) of the subscribed service to a smartcard. The smartcard stores the service guide and the ID of the subscribed service, and sends the service guide and the ID of the subscribed service to a second terminal through a response message to a request message used for acquiring TBK information, received from the second terminal. The second terminal receives the response message by sending the request message to the smartcard, acquires TBK information corresponding to a service that the second terminal intends to play back, from the service guide depending on the subscribed service's ID included in the response message, and acquires the TBK by performing an authentication process using the TBK information.

摘要： An encoding method and apparatus for a DCH (Dedicated Channel) encoder and a DSCH (Downlink Shared Channel) encoder in a transmitter for a mobile communication system including the DCH encoder for encoding k bits among 10 input TFCI (Transport Format Combination Indicator) bits and the DSCH encoder for encoding remaining (10-k) bits among the input TFCI bits. The method comprises generating, by the DCH encoder, a first coded bit stream by encoding the k input bits into 32 bits, and outputting a (3k+1)-bit stream by puncturing the first coded bit stream according to a specific mask pattern corresponding to the k value; and generating, by the DSCH encoder, a second coded bit stream by encoding the (10-k) input bits into 32 bits, and outputting a {3*(10-k)+1}-bit stream by puncturing the second coded bit stream according to a specific mask pattern corresponding to the (10-k) value.

摘要： A cell reselection method by a user equipment (UE) receiving an MBMS service in a serving cell of a mobile communication system. The UE receives control data of the serving cell, including configuration information necessary for accessing MBMS control channels (MCCHs) of neighbor cells and control information necessary for accessing an MBMS data transport channel (MTCH) of the serving cell, over an MCCH of the serving cell, and stores the received control data, while the MBMS service is provided in the serving cell. If cell reselection to a target cell, which is one of the neighbor cells is determined, the UE moves to the target cell by utilizing configuration information stored for the target cell.

摘要： A joint detection reception apparatus and method, which are utilized irrespective of a length of an orthogonal code in a TD-CDMA communication system. The joint detection reception method for creating a system matrix associated with a joint detection receiver in the same time slot includes the steps of a) repeating and partitioning individual channelization codes having variable lengths, and creating channelization code blocks having the same lengths, b) performing a convolution operation between the repeated and partitioned channelization code blocks and a channel impulse response, and acquiring combined impulse responses, c) grouping the combined impulse responses to construct sub-block matrices for a joint detection system, d) arranging the sub-block matrices for the joint detection system to be shifted by a predetermined column distance, and constructing a joint detection system matrix, and e) extending the joint detection system matrix to a squared-format matrix to create a block-circulant squared matrix.

摘要： In a mobile communication system, if a UE enters a SHO (Soft Handover) region, the UE determines weight information for a DPCH and a PDSCH depending on DPCH signals and PDSCH signals received from Node Bs, and transmits the determined weight information to the Node Bs. The Node Bs then determine weights of the DPCH signals and the PDSCH signals to be transmitted to the UE depending on the feedback information received from the UE, and transmit the determined weights to the UE along with the DPCH signals and the PDSCH signals, respectively.

摘要： A system and method for transmitting/receiving encryption information in a mobile broadcast system supporting broadcast service (BCAST) are provided. In the mobile broadcast system, a BCAST Subscription Management (BSM) manages subscriber information of a terminal, and transmits to a BCAST Service Distribution/Adaptation (BSD/A) a first delivery message including a Registration Key Material (RKM) provided for registration of the broadcast service of the terminal and including at least one service or content's identifier. The BSD/A transmits to the BSM a first delivery confirmation message including information indicating success/fail in receipt of the first delivery message, and transmits the RKM to the terminal.
