Abstract:
A process for finishing a wood or wooden board, in particular an MDF or HDF board, with an upper side and an underside. The process includes applying a sealing layer of melamine resin to the upper side of the board and printing a decoration onto the sealing layer. A protective layer is applied of melamine resin to the decoration and the board is pressed under the action of temperature until the protective layer and the sealing layer melt and bond to each other with the inclusion of the decoration printed on.
Abstract:
A device for locking two building boards comprises a tongue element inserted into a groove a first building board. The tongue element comprises a spring having a plurality of wave arches. A groove is provided in a core of a second building board and corresponds to the groove of the first building board, such that when the groove of the first and second building boards overlap during a connection of the first and second building boards, by a vertical lowering movement, the first and second building boards are locked in a direction parallel to the visible side by the tongue element.
Abstract:
A method for providing a roller assembly for producing a decorative pattern on a wood material surface, wherein the roller assembly comprises at least one decorative paint roller and at least one structured lacquer application or embossing roller, and the structured lacquer application or embossing roller and the decorative paint roller are matched to create a structured decorative pattern, includes the steps of applying first the decorative paint roller and then the structured lacquer application roller on the wood material surface. The method uses at least two different decorative paint rollers for creating two different decorative patterns are matched with a structured lacquer application or embossing roller.
Abstract:
A device for finishing the surface of a building board of a pressed wood material, in particular MDF or HDF, or a wood material/plastic mixture, by embossing a structure or printing a pattern, with a pressing plate engraved according to the structure or the pattern and a tool carrier supported in a press device. The tool carrier is embodied as a hollow body and the pressing plate is releasably attached to the tool carrier directly and over the entire surface.
Abstract:
A method for finishing a building board, in particular a wood material or plastic board or a mixture of wood material and plastic. The building board includes a top side and an underside and opposite side edges. The method includes embossing a structure and/or a relief in at least the top side of the building board. A pattern is applied to the embossed side of the building board. The pattern is sealed by the application of an abrasion-resistant layer to the pattern.

Abstract:
A method for producing a veneered board having a veneer and a carrier board having improved use properties includes the steps of providing a veneer and a carrier board, providing a sheet of paper impregnated with binder, the sheet of paper being arranged in a stack of materials to be pressed between an upper face of the carrier board and a lower face of the veneer, and pressing the stack of materials to be pressed. The sheet of paper is impregnated with a binder, the sheet of paper impregnated with binder is pre-dried so that it is still sticky, at least one additive is applied onto the pre-dried, still sticky binder, and the sheet of paper which is impregnated with binder and provided with an additive is dried to a residual moisture content of up to 8%.
Abstract:
method for determining the amount of at least one sealing agent applied to at least one side edge of a wood-based board comprising the steps of: recording at least one NIR spectrum of a plurality of reference samples of at least one sealing agent applied to a side edge of a wood-based board; the application amount of the at least one sealing agent of the reference samples to the recorded NIR spectra of the reference samples; and creating a calibration model for the relationship between the spectral data of the NIR spectra and the application amounts of the impregnating agent of the reference samples; recording at least one NIR spectrum of at least one sealing agent applied to a side edge; determining the application amount of the at least one sealing agent by comparing the NIR spectrum recorded for the sealing agent with the calibration model created.
Abstract:
The invention provides a method and an apparatus for adopting analogue decor templates in decor printing, including the similarity comparison between at least one of 1 to n hyperspectral digital reference images of the analogue decor template and at least one of 1 to n hyperspectral digital actual images of a substrate with decor. A decor-specific profile target is adjusted such that the digital template of the analogue decor template can be output on a substrate by way of an output medium in such a way that the colour deviation between at least one of 1 to n reference images of the analogue decor template and at least one of 1 to n actual images of the substrate with decor is below a specified target value.
