摘要： A universal and economical drawer slide is mounted on the rear underside of a pull drawer to engage a fixed cabinet side member or channel. The preferred embodiments disclosed in the present application are rectangular in shape and are intended for use with furniture-type drawers which have a recessed drawer back, with the thin bottom of the drawer secured into the recess in the drawer back. By making the drawer guide rectangular in configuration, it may be thinner at the rear and therefore may be used with a furniture-type drawer with a cutting away of only a short section in the center of the bottom of the drawer back. The cabinet guide members may be made of wood or of metal channels, and include laterally extending side rails which are engaged by the molded plastic drawer guide which is secured to the rear portion of the drawer. The drawer guide includes a generally rectangular flat, thin plastic body, with a flange which extends upwardly and over the outer side of the back portion of the drawer. Near the very rear of the drawer at the back of the drawer guide, it includes two laterally extending members to overly the laterally extending portions of the cabinet guide members. The plastic body also carries depending members along its length which engage the outer sides of the cabinet guides to maintain the drawer in alignment.

On each side of the drawer, there is provided a pull-out rail mounted on the drawer and a supporting rail fastened to a furniture body. Rollers, balls or slides are arranged between the supporting rails and the pull-out rails. The pull-out rails and the supporting rails are guided without clearance. On each side of the drawer, adjusting device are provided adjacent to the front plate for vertical and lateral adjustment of the drawer with respect to the pull-out rails. Each adjusting device has an oblong hole which is aligned parallel to the front plate and through which projects a clamping screw which engages in a female thread in a horizontal flange of the pull-out rail. Each of the adjusting devices is connected to the drawer by a vertically adjustable holding member.

Slides or rollers which are for example mounted in a carriage are mounted between the rails. The supporting rails are in longitudinal direction divided into a mounting member fastenable to the furniture side wall and a running member. The mounting member is adapted to be coupled to the running member. A horizontal flange of the running member is at the rear end pushed below a hook which is bent out from a horizontal flange of the mounting member. A positioning pin for the running member is provided at the front end of the supporting rail. The positioning pin has the form of a hook. A slide is mounted at the mounting member and presses the running member towards the rear in the push-in direction of the drawer and underneath the projection of the positioning pin.

摘要： A drawer guide and track member with minimal frictional engagement thereof in which the guide member is formed a generally C-shaped cross sectional configuration adapted for to and from movement on a cooperating track member. The upper surface of the track member contains a longitudinally extending groove adapted to receive a downwardly projecting staked stop member formed into the guide member. The bearing surfaces of the guide member are formed to provide minimal frictional engagement between the guide member and the track member so as to reduce the overall friction during use of the drawer guide.

摘要： In a drawer guide having a shaped guide rail which can be fastened to the wall of a cabinet and which is engaged from below into a corresponding runner rail in the form of an inverted channel which can be fastened to the drawer, tracks for rolling bearings are formed in the interior of the runner rail. Upon a longitudinal displacement of the runner rail relative to the guide rail, these rolling bearings roll on these runner rail tracks and in tracks formed in the portion of the guide rail which is engaged in the runner rail. The portion of the guide rail that is engaged in the runner rail is bent from the substantially horizontal part of the guide rail. On the latter part of the guide rail a resiliently deformable brake element is provided and on a lateral ear of the runner rail there is provided a projection which will run against the resilient brake element in the desired braking position.

摘要： A guide means for sliding drawers having a roller carriage adapted to be affixed to the rear of a drawer, wherein the roller carriage is slidably mounted to a longitudinal track member defining a center guide system which is positioned and secured between the front and rear of a fixed structure, such as a cabinet. The carriage is provided with a roller positioned rearwardly of the carriage, so as to be freely supported in the track and to provide lateral stability. The roller carriage comprises a substantially rectangular frame structure which is attached to the bottom of the drawer, and includes a plurality of shoe members, the track passing between the frame structure and the shoe members. The track includes a restraint member to engage the roller, thus causing frictional engagement between the shoe members and the track, when the drawer is to be removed from the track.
