摘要： A storage rack includes front and rear deck beams and C-shaped tie supports extending between the deck beams. Each tie support has a side wall, a top flange and a bottom flange. The top flange has front and rear ends and tabs extending downwardly therefrom. The bottom flange has front and rear ends and tabs extending downwardly therefrom. When assembled with the deck beams the front and rear ends of the top flange are seated on a support ledge of the deck beams with the tabs received into respective slots. Similarly, the front and rear ends of the bottom flange are seated on a lower leg of the front and rear deck beams with the tabs received into the respective slots. The tie supports cooperate with the deck beams to limit the sagging of the decks, while also preventing outward twisting of the deck beams.

摘要： A storage rack having a flexible moment frame adapted for receiving pallets with stored goods. The frame flexes or floats when a vector, lateral force “V” is applied thereto, such as an earthquake. The frame includes spaced apart vertical posts. A plurality of sets of horizontal load and cross beams are releasably attached along a length of the vertical posts. When the lateral, vector force “V’ is applied to the moment frame, a top portion of the frame is displaced from the vertical at an angle “Δ Flexible”. This angle is greater than an angle “Δ Rigid” for similar storage racks with rigid frames. Thus with this angle of flexiblity, the moment frame reduces potential damage to the stored goods.

Vertical longitudinal posts are disposed at corners of the shelf unit. Horizontal crosspieces are disposable between two front ones of the posts. A tubular display bar of polygonal cross section is fitted with a pair of mounting brackets, which are slidable along the bar to enable spacing of the mounting brackets to agree with the spacing between the slotted uprights, which can be somewhat variable. The mounting brackets are formed with openings which closely and non-rotatably receive the display bar and are provided with hook-like tabs which engage slots in the uprights. Flanged end plugs are received tightly in each end of the display bar to prevent removal of the slidable brackets, such that the display bar and bracket form a permanent assembly. The mounting brackets may have multiple hook-like tabs for installation on uprights of different thicknesses.
