摘要： A protective pacifier nipple structure having a nipple and a protective sleeve installed over the exterior section of the nipple. The nipple has situated at one side a nursing end and at the other side a round stay with a grasping ring. The round stay has fitted onto its outer periphery a protective sleeve with a serpentine tubular structure surrounding the nipple and, formed at the tail end of the protective sleeve and aligned with the position of the nursing end, is a through-hole. When the protective sleeve is collapsed, the nursing end of the nipple projects outside the through-hole and provides for the suckling of the infant. When the nipple is removed from the mouth of the infant, the protective sleeve is no longer compressed and the serpentine tubular structure elastically returns to its original shape, once again surrounding the nursing end of the nipple. As such, when the pacifier nipple is dislodged, the nursing end is prevented from contacting the floor, thereby functioning as a hygienic and safe protective pacifier nipple structure.

摘要： A pacifier is provided having two teat sucking portions integrally connected to a middle support member. Each of the teat sucking portion includes a shank portion and a nipple portion adapted to be sucked by the child. The support member may become either convex or concave depending upon the side of the pacifier in which suction is applied. The middle support member must have sufficient flexibility to allow this movement between neutral, convex and concave positions. The pacifier is made of elastomeric material such as natural or synthetic rubber. Preferably, air holes are provided in the center support section. These holes are preferably aligned horizontally and are aligned to the baby's mouth to facilitate airflow passage. The air holes also create more flexibility in the middle support member to allow movement between neutral, convex and concave positions.

摘要： An infant blanket/towel is provided having one or more teething elements and/or pacifiers attached thereto. The invention is conveniently used by draping the blanket/towel across the infant's chest and stomach and initially providing one of the teething or pacifier elements into the infant's grasp. When and if the infant drops the teething or pacifier element, the element does not fall to the floor or otherwise out of the infant's reach. Because the blanket/towel generally remains draped across the infant, the pacifier or teething element merely slips down onto the infant's chest. By the infant's natural tendency to grip the blanket/towel and thrust the blanket/towel into its mouth, the infant frequently can relocate the pacifier or teething element and re-position it into its mouth.

The second end of the flexible ribbon is attached to a holding ring of a pacifier. The length of the flexible ribbon is retractably extendable from the interior space of the housing. The back face of the housing has a fastener for attaching the housing to a garment of the user.

A strap for securing the pacifier to the cushion is secured by the clip to the base. The strap has two ends. Each of the ends has a fastener means thereon such that the first and second ends of the strap are fastenable together.

摘要： A plural nipple baby toy including a polymeric, hollow spherical ball constructed with interlocking hemispheres having a plurality of holes in its periphery surface adapted for receiving a plurality of brightly colored bottle or pacifier nipples. The nipples are installed within the ball prior to assembly of the interlocking hemispheres and secured therein by retainers in a manner whereby the ball and nipple are permanently fixed as an integral unit. The nipples may be symmetrically spaced with the preferred embodiment having up to six nipples. The toy can be transformed into a plural nipple ball with a handle by substituting a handle assembly for one of the nipples. A more elaborate toy may be assembled by simply providing two plural nipple balls connected by a common handle assembly replacing one nipple on each ball. In any case, each spherical ball having a plurality of conventional bottle nipples, each located in a manner which allows the child to suck on the nipples without interference from the adjacent nipple, the child can easily find and grasp the pacifier/toy and insert one of the nipples in his mouth without manipulating the pacifier. The pacifier is sufficiently large that it cannot be easily lost, is brightly colored, and is immensely pleasurable to an infant or toddler.

摘要： A new Air Responsive Illuminated Pacifier for providing a pacifier having a light source which is activated when an child sucks on the pacifier. The inventive device includes an airtight nipple portion, a handle portion attached to the nipple portion, and a light source and a pressure actuated switch positioned within the handle portion, wherein the switch activates the light source when a child sucks on the nipple portion. A single activation of the light source causes the light source to remain lit for a predetermined time (e.g., 15 seconds). When activated, the light source emits light into a hollow interior cavity of the handle portion. The handle portion is made of a translucent or luminescent material. When the handle portion is made of a luminescent material, the handle portion continues to glow for a substantial time after extinguishment of the light source, thereby enabling a child or parent to easily locate the pacifier in the dark.
