An underwear for a female wearer includes: a rear-side fabric-region that is configured to cover at least some of buttocks of the female wearer; a front-side fabric-region that is generally opposite said rear-side fabric-region and that is configured to cover at least some of a pelvis of the female wearer; and a gusset (or crotch-covering) fabric-region that is configured to cover genitalia and/or crotch of the female wearer. A body-facing or inner side of the gusset fabric-region includes a fabric-based Passepartout frame element which holds in place therein a fabric-based leak-protection pad that absorbs fluids and prevents fluid leaks.

摘要: Disclosed herein are composite materials, ionic liquid compositions for preparing the composite materials, and methods for using the composite materials prepared from the ionic liquid compositions. The composite materials typically include structural polymers and nitric oxide releasing agents, and preferably photo-reactive nitric oxide releasing compounds or complexes. The composite materials may be prepared from ionic liquid compositions comprising the structural polymers and the nitric oxide releasing agent, where the ionic liquid is removed from the ionic liquid compositions to obtain the composite materials. The composite materials may be used in applications include dressing for wounds, where the nitric oxide releasing agents may be induced to release nitric oxide in order to inhibit microbial growth and promote healing.

摘要: The present invention relates to a polyvinyl alcohol/sodium alginate/hydroxyapatite composite fibrous membrane, and a preparation method and an application thereof. The preparation method of the composite fibrous membrane includes the following steps: firstly, reacting a diammonium hydrogen phosphate with a calcium nitrate to prepare a hydroxyapatite, and performing ultrasonic dispersion on the hydroxyapatite with a sodium alginate to form a stable hydroxyapatite suspension; separately preparing a sodium alginate solution of which the mass fraction is 2% and a polyvinyl alcohol solution of which the mass fraction is 18% using the above stable hydroxyapatite suspension; and finally, proportionally and uniformly mixing the two solutions, and performing electrospinning.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a micro particle with a diameter of 10-100 microns, wherein the micro particle is coated with silver nanoparticles; and wherein the nanoparticles are coated with a polysaccharide; and wherein the polysaccharide coating is digestible by bacteria. Also, disclosed is a method of making silver nanoparticles using an ascorbic acid derivative or an alpha-hydroxyl carboxylic acid derivative as a reducing agent. The silver nanoparticles may be coated onto micro particles, embedded in hydrogel particles or coated with polysaccharide. The silver nanoparticles may be used in a wound dressing, a bandage, a fungal treatment product, a deodorant, a floss product, a toothpick, a dietary supplement, dental X-ray, a mouthwash, a toothpaste, acne or wound treatment product, skin scrub, and skin defoliate agent.
