Abstract:
An electronic device includes a main body, two positioning members, a cover, at least one positioning post, and at least one latching member. The main body includes a first casing, a second casing, and a HDD. The second casing defines an opening, from which the HDD is capable of being placed into and removed from the electronic device. The positioning members protrude from the first casing. The cover is rotatably connected to the positioning members. When the cover is rotatable to be received in the opening, the cover and the positioning members cooperatively define a receiving space to receive the HDD. Each of the at least one positioning post perpendicular extends from one of the positioning members. Each of the at least one latching member is rotatably connected to the cover and includes a hook capable of engaging with at least one of the positioning post to latch the cover.
Abstract:
A foldable fixing apparatus for fixing a hard disk drive includes a handle and two collapsible arms. The handle includes a sidewall. Each collapsible arm includes a fixing arm and a pivot arm. First ends of the fixing arms are rotatably connected to opposite ends of the sidewall. The pivot arms are rotatably connected to second ends of the fixing arms opposite to the first ends. When the pivot arms are pivoted to fold to the corresponding fixing arms, the collapsible arms are capable of being folded to the handle. When the fixing arms are rotated to be perpendicular to the sidewall of the handle, and the pivot arms are unfolded from, and aligned with, the corresponding fixing arms, the hard disk drive is capable of being mounted between the collapsible arms.
Abstract:
A disk drive assembly includes a drive bracket, a disk drive, a transfer connector, and a connecting cable. The drive bracket includes a rear panel and two parallel side panels perpendicular to the rear panel. The disk drive is received in the drive bracket between the two side panels. The disk drive has a connecting port defined therein. The transfer connector is secured to the drive bracket. The transfer connector includes a first connector and a second connector capable of connecting to an electronic device. The connecting cable is connected between the connecting port and the first connector and capable of absorbing a vibration between the disk drive and the transfer connector.
Abstract:
A mounting bracket for mounting a storage mechanism to an electronic device includes a main portion and two fixing portions located at opposite ends of the main portion. At least one of the fixing portions defines a through hole therein, and a buffering protrusion extending out from a surface of the fixing portion and surrounds the through hole. An electronic device having the mounting bracket is also provided.
Abstract:
A hard disk drive (HDD) bracket for fixing a HDD includes an arm, a frame pivotably connected to the arm, a handle mounted to the frame, and a fixing member slidably attached to the arm and capable of engaging with both of the handle and the arm.
Abstract:
A casing is provided which includes a housing for receiving an extractable element and an extractor member mounted in the vicinity of the housing. The extractor member includes a tilting cam having a bearing end extending into the housing and an actuation end co-operating with a slidable lever having a drivable first end and a second end provided with a recess having the actuation end of the cam passing therethrough. The actuation end of the tilting cam includes a rear edge provided with an indentation and resilient return means holding said rear edge pressed against a rear end of the recess so that the rear end of the recess drops into the indentation at the end of insertion of the extractable element.
Abstract:
A retaining mechanism, used for retaining an electronic component including a support bracket having an end part formed with an engaging hole, includes a mounting block having a mounting hole for receiving the end part of the support bracket, and a through hole communicating with the mounting hole. A seat body covers the mounting block, and has a bolt hole communicating with and disposed above the through hole, and a limiting slot communicating with one side of the bolt hole. A locking bolt includes a shank disposed slidably in the bolt hole, and a stopper block connected transversely to the bottom portion and slidable upward and downward along the limiting slot. The shank has a bottom portion adapted to engage releasably the engaging hole when the through hole is aligned with the engaging hole.
Abstract:
A retaining apparatus includes a tray and a retaining member. The tray is used for receiving at least one data storage device. The retaining device includes a base member, a retaining member, an arm member and a locking member. The base member is attached to the tray. The retaining member is movably attached to the base member along a first direction. The retaining member includes an engaging portion, a retaining portion and a latch. The arm member is pivotably attached to the base member about a pivot axis, and the pivot axis is located at a first end of the arm member. The locking member is slidably attached to the arm member. The arm member includes a latching portion.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes an electronic component, a bracket, a driving member, and a securing member. The bracket encloses the electronic component. The driving member and the securing member are mounted on the bracket. The driving member is operated along a first direction to force the securing member move along a second direction and engage with the bracket and the electronic component to assemble the bracket and the electronic component together.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a protection kit which is used for sheathing and protecting a surface of a mobile information carrier and is adapted to connect normally for communication. The protection kit utilizes a shock-proof cartridge which buffers an external force to be combined correspondingly with an adapter seat which leads to communication, so as to form full protection and enclosure. Besides, the protection kit can be adapted outward to connect normally for communication; whereas, upper and lower surfaces of the adapter seat and the shock-proof cartridge are provided respectively with a male-and-female latching design to facilitate collecting plural information carriers in a stack.
