Abstract: A drive carrier comprises a front portion, a first lateral rail extending from the front portion, and a second lateral rail extending from the front portion. The front portion and first and second lateral rails form a frame configured to receive a media drive between the first and second lateral rails. The first lateral rail is formed from plastic and comprises a screw hole. When the media drive is received in the frame, the media drive is coupled to the first lateral rail by a screw inserted through the screw hole. The drive carrier also has a metal screw plate in-molded into the plastic of the first lateral rail surrounding the screw hole. The screw plate strengthens the first lateral rail around the rim of the screw hole to prevent the head of the screw from cracking the plastic and/or tearing through the plastic.

The first surface is attached to the wall. The first pad is connected to the first wiring. The second pad is connected to the second wiring away from the first pad. The opening penetrates the organic compound layer to open to the first surface and the second surface between the first pad and the second pad.

Abstract: A chassis device is provided and includes a case and an operating assembly. The case is for installing a detachable module and includes a first pivoting component pivotally connected to the detachable module, a second pivoting component pivotally connected to the first pivoting component, and a first engaging component movably disposed on the first pivoting component and for removably engaging with a second engaging component of the detachable module. The first pivoting component is restrained from pivoting when the first engaging component engages with the second engaging component of the detachable module, and when the second pivoting component pivots, the second pivoting component pushes the first engaging component, so that the first engaging component disengages from the second engaging component of the detachable module for allowing the first pivoting component to pivot. Abstract: A base plate is a portion of a housing of a disk drive apparatus, including a base body being a casting product, and an electrodeposition coating film covering at least a portion of a surface of the base body. The base body includes a bottom plate rectangular as viewed from an axial direction, a pivot post, and a protrusion. Abstract: A hard disk drive bracket is configured to be fixed within a hard disk drive holder and includes a support portion, a tray and an elastic piece. The tray is connected to a side of the support portion and has a chassis and a sidewall protruding form a side of the chassis. The elastic piece is suspended above the tray and has a first end fixed to the support portion and a second end forming a hook. The elastic piece and the tray form a holding space therebetween for holding a hard disk drive. When the hard disk drive is inserted into the chassis along a bending direction of the second end of the elastic piece, the second end lifts to hold the hard disk drive between the chassis and the elastic piece. The sidewall fixes the hard disk drive on the chassis with the cooperation of the elastic piece.

Abstract: An unloading mechanism assembly adapted to unload an optical disk drive from a housing of an electronic device includes a guiding component, a push rod and a driving module. The push rod is disposed in parallel with the guiding component along the first direction. The push rod is adapted to drive the driving module to pivotally rotate with respect to the guiding component.

Abstract: A storage device tray has a form factor designed to support a larger storage device, and is configured to secure a small storage device, thereby acting as an adapter between storage device sizes. The storage device tray includes a sliding mechanism configured with pegs that may couple to screw holes in the storage device. The sliding mechanism also exerts a force against the storage device to secure that storage device, and may be locked to further secure that storage device. At least one advantage of this approach is that a storage device can be coupled to a storage device tray without using screws.

Abstract: A storage device holding mechanism is provided, including a holding frame and a detaching mechanism. The holding frame holds a storage device; the holding frame includes a bottom plate and includes a first side plate and a second side plate connected to the bottom plate. The detaching mechanism is assembled to one side of the first side plate and includes a push rod and a latch structure for fastening the push rod. The push rod is slidable to be fastened to the latch structure in a fastened position or to be separated from the latch structure in a detached position. When the push rod is in the fastened position, one end of the push rod is flush with one side of the holding frame. When the push rod is released from the latch structure, the push rod slides to the detached position.
