    摘要: An operating device for use with an over center diaphragm switch contact assembly which includes a contact supporting board, a fixed contact, and an over center diaphragm contact resiliently deformable from a first position spaced apart from said fixed contact to a second position in electrical contact therewith. The operating device includes a guide plate having a slot therein and a knob element slidably received in the slot. The knob element includes a ramp surface which slidably, frictionally engages the surface of the guide plate proximal the diaphragm contact and a nib portion which slidably engages the diaphragm contact and arranged such that sliding movement of the knob element longitudinally within the slot operates the diaphragm contact from its first position to its second position. The ramp surface of the knob element maintains the diaphragm contact in electrical contact with the fixed contact whereby the operating device converts the resilient diaphragm contact assembly into a bistable ''''on-off'''' switch.

    摘要: An electrical strip cable assembly comprising a thin flat strip of flexible insulating material having a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating on a surface thereof for supporting a pair of metal foil conductors bonded thereto and further having a receptacle at an end of the strip for connecting the cable assembly to larger conventional cables. The receptacle includes a pair of terminals respectively connected to each of the conductors with each terminal comprising a generally elongated cylindrical member having a substantially flat surface portion in contact with its corresponding foil conductor. Each terminal is attached to its respective foil conductor by conductive tabs extending from the terminal through the foil conductor and bent to secure the terminal to the conductor. An on/off switch for the cable assembly is provided with a gradually sloping base having a pair of metal conductors on the upper side thereof which are adapted to mate with the foil conductors of the cable.

    摘要: One wall, such as the upper wall, of an elongated case of an adjustable electrical control device is provided with a slot extending lengthwise of the case. Disposed in the case lengthwise thereof is a pair of laterally spaced electrical elements engaged by electric contact means carried by a slide extending through the slot. A bar above the case extends lengthwise of it and is provided with longitudinally spaced recesses. The slide is moved along the case by an actuator connected to it, and either the slide or the actuator carries spring-pressed means normally projecting into one of the bar recesses, whereby the slide and actuator can be indexed along the bar.

    摘要: A slide switch for use in electrical circuits, including an elongated support member having a channel shape with parallel leg portions joined by a bight portion, and a plurality of elongated stator members having portions mounted within the channel of the support member between the leg portions. Each stator has a plurality of terminals mounted thereon and each has an independent switch carrier member for movement longitudinally along the stator. Each switch carrier member has switch means for operatively connecting selected pairs of terminals. An actuator member is seated on and moves longitudinally along the bight portion of the support member and has two arm portions overlying the leg portions of the support member and is operatively connected to the switch carrier members on the stators. Means are provided on the stators to interlock the stators in a back-toback relationship or in an end-to-end relationship. An index mechanism is snap fit over the channel-shaped support, holds the actuator in position and has means for guiding the actuator member for movement longitudinally along the support member. The index mechanism includes a pair of opposed spring loaded detent balls operatively associated with detent surfaces on the sidewalls of a frame member extending longitudinally along the switch to maintain the switch carrier members in a preselected position.
