Abstract:
A system for the formation of a thick robust transparent floor finish layer from a high solids formulation with an applicator device utilizing micro fiber technology. A micro fiber applicator device can be configured to apply a sufficient amount of an aqueous high solids floor finish to obtain a thick robust finish layer in a single application. One system for applying the floor finish can comprise a source of aqueous floor finish and an applicator wand comprising an application nozzle and application surface. Application surface can comprise micro fiber technology in a pad structure comprising a reservoir foam and a micro fiber applicator surface.
Abstract:
Mops comprising one or more cleaning members. In select embodiments, the cleaning members are releasably secured to the mop and may be capable of compression. In these embodiments, the different cleaning members enable the mop to operate in a plurality of different modes, including a wringing mop mode, a damp mop mode and a dust mop mode. In other embodiments, a portion of the handle of the mop is adapted to hold and release a fluid, such as a cleaning solution. In these embodiments, the user may cause release of the fluid through one or more openings associated with the mop.
Abstract:
The applicator (1) for applying an oxidative hair dye to human hair, especially to hair strands, has two compartments or chambers (2,3) for a liquid oxidation dye and an oxidizing agent respectively. Both the oxidation dye and the oxidizing agent are dispensed together at a product-dispensing spot or area of the applicator. The compartments (2,3) are provided with respective product-dispensing openings (5,6), which open next to each other, so that a reactive dyeing mixture is provided only outside of the applicator, especially on human hair. For improve applicability liquid-permeable inserts (7,8) made of spongy material, bristles or fabric, especially felt, are provided in the product-dispensing openings (5,6), preferably protruding from them somewhat.
Abstract:
Apparatus and methods for cleaning and repairing a thermal barrier coating on a component designed for use in a hostile thermal environment, such as turbine, combustor and augmentor components of a gas turbine engine. The apparatus is a handheld tool that includes an applicator and a fluid dispensing unit. The method involves use of the apparatus to clean and repair a damaged coating such as a thermal barrier coating on a coated article. After cleaning the surface area of the component exposed by the localized spallation using a first apparatus, a second apparatus is used to apply and distribute a liquid mixture such as a primer or a coating repair composition the damaged area of the coating. The cleaning and repair methods can be performed while the component remains installed, e.g., in a gas turbine engine.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a self-contained washing machine to clean a vehicle window such as a vehicle's windscreen. The washing machine is principally a windscreen washing machine. The washing machine includes a cleaning liquid reservoir unit having a pump and a battery and support. Upon insertion of the battery and support into a housing and handle, electrical connection is made to drive a trigger operated reciprocating squeegee tool. The reciprocating squeegee tool includes a mechanical reciprocator, a squeegee head, and a spraying head, the mechanical reciprocator inducing reciprocating action to a connected squeegee head. The spraying head is connected to the cleaning fluid through tubing and is located proximate the squeegee head. An extender unit fits between the cleaning liquid reservoir unit and the housing and handle of the squeegee tool.
Abstract:
Provided is a mop/cleaner handle that includes two chambers or hollow elements, in which fluid is transferred from one to the other before being sprayed out. In one specific device, one of the two chambers or hollow elements is slidable into the other, and each includes a one-way valve. In another, all or substantially all of the apparatus is enclosed within a tubular outer housing to
Abstract:
The mop has a mop handle with a mop head at one end and a handle grip at the other end. Intermediate the mop head and the handle grip is a container holder and a container. The container is held in the container holder with the dispensing end of the container facing downward to the floor. Depending on the orientation of the container holder on the mop handle the liquid in the container can be dispensed “for” or “aft” of the mop head. Further, the container can be removed from the mop handle and the liquid dispensed onto the floor. The liquid is dispensed from the container by squeezing the container.
Abstract:
A paint or varnish feeder for a painting device comprises at least one manifold (13; 33; . . . ) with openings or small dispensing channels (15; 55; . . . ). The at least one manifold (13; 33; . . . ) is fed through at least one pipe (16; . . . ) starting from a container in which a slight pressure is created. The small dispensing channels (15; 55; . . . ) can have various configurations in the various embodiments.
