Abstract: Cleaning compositions and methods of use thereof for cleaning fryers and other hard surfaces soiled by grease, shortening, oils and other soils commonly encountered in the food service industry are disclosed. Cleaning compositions and methods of use which beneficially remove soils from vertical and/or inverted surfaces, reduce the cleaning time required for removing such difficult to remove and baked on soils, reduce exposure to hot surfaces by allowing cleaning at or near room temperature, reduce exposure to caustic chemicals, and/or eliminate the need for personal protective equipment (PPE) for use of the cleaning compositions are disclosed.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to produce wash products including a dispenser with a liquid retaining container and a foam dispenser head and a liquid produce wash present in the liquid retaining container, wherein the foam dispenser head is fluidly connected to the liquid produce wash, and wherein the liquid produce wash includes a natural oil or a component thereof, a fatty acid, an antioxidant, a surfactant, an alkali metal hydroxide, glycerin, water, and, optionally, a preservative. In some aspects, the foam dispenser head includes an air chamber and a liquid chamber fluidly connected to the liquid retaining container; when the foam dispenser head is activated by pumping or another means, air and the liquid produce wash are dispensed simultaneously as a foam. Also disclosed are methods of dispensing a produce wash, methods of using the disclosed produce washes to wash a piece of firm produce, and liquid produce washes.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to cleaning compositions in general, and cleaning compositions that are well suited for use by individuals, who experience adverse health effects that may occur upon exposure to certain chemicals. The disclosure presents and describes protocols for the formulation and evaluation of a variety of cleaning products and dilutable cleaning product concentrates using a combination of 14C assay, head space analysis and screening of both ingredients and final products for governmentally-regulated materials. The methods and compositions newly presented herein avoid causing adverse health responses in individuals and are suitable for use by any person, particularly individuals who experience MCS.

Abstract: The need for a hand-dishwashing composition which is highly effective at removing grease, while also having good suds mileage, and avoiding negatives on physical stability, especially at low temperatures is met by formulating the hand dishwashing composition to comprise a branched alkyl sulfate anionic surfactant having a low degree of alkoxylation, or no alkoxylation, and a co-surfactant, in combination with polypropylene glycol of a defined molecular weight, as described herein.
