    Abstract: A method of texturing a wall or ceiling with non-acoustical joint compound by providing a collapsible bag having an opening at its top and is adapted to contain non-acoustical joint compound for forming a textured coating on the wall or ceiling and providing a spray nozzle having a low pressure input port, a joint compound suction port attached to the opening at the top of the collapsible bag, and an output port for spraying the non-acoustical joint compound. A low pressure stream of air from an air gun attached to the low pressure input port urges a small quantity of the non-acoustical joint compound to be sprayed out of the spray nozzle when the bottom of the collapsible disposable bag is raised above its top to either allow or force the joint compound to flow into the suction port and into the interior of the spray nozzle.

    Abstract: A hose end sprayer includes a concentrate tank and a sprayer head. The sprayer head has an inlet end, an outlet end and a flow tube, along with a suction tube and a valve. When the sprayer head is closed, neither the first nor the second flow orifice communicates with the flow opening and the concentrate opening is closed by the valve body. When the sprayer head is in wet mode, the vent opening communicates with the concentrate opening as concentrate is drawn into the flow tube. When the sprayer head is in dry mode, the concentrate orifice communicates with the concentrate opening to direct a portion of the fluid into the concentrate tank. A metering plate injects a selectively adjustable amount of concentrate into the fluid stream. The sprayer head may further include a concentrate basket to hold a dry product within the concentrate tank.

    Abstract: A spray gun includes a casing, a cup, a spray nozzle, and a pump. The pump is provided in the casing and has a spray chamber in communication with the cup. The cup includes a cup housing and a flexible cup body provided in the cup housing. A venting structure communicating the cup with an outer environment is provided on the pump. The cup housing is provided with a hollow portion, such that the flexible cup body is manually squeezable to expel air inside the flexible cup body out via the venting structure.

    Abstract: A lid, for attachment to a container holding a liquid for use with a liquid spraying device, a vent duct defining a vent conduit extending through a lid body from a duct inlet end to a duct outlet end. A valve is disposed in the vent duct and is configured to permit air flow in a first direction, from the duct inlet end to the duct outlet end, while preventing liquid flow in a second direction opposite the first direction. A cap extends over the duct inlet end, the cap including a cap interior surface defining an interior air chamber, communicating with the vent conduit, and at least a first passage, communicating between the interior air chamber and a first cap inlet. A tube is coupled to the duct outlet end and has a tube outlet end fluidly communicating with an interior of the container.
