    Abstract: In some example embodiments, a reservoir assembly may include a reservoir and an isolation structure. The reservoir may hold a pre-vapor formulation. The reservoir may include a first fluid port extending through a housing of the reservoir, where the first fluid port may enable fluid communication between the reservoir and an exterior of the reservoir assembly. The reservoir may be coupled to a vaporizer assembly that includes a second fluid port configured to enable fluid communication between the reservoir and vaporizer assembly, or the reservoir may be coupled to a vaporizer connector assembly that includes a second fluid port configured to enable fluid communication between the reservoir and an exterior through the vaporizer connector assembly. The isolation structure may move in relation to the reservoir and the vaporizer connector assembly to a position where it exposes one of the fluid ports and covers the other.

    Abstract: A nicotine e-vaping device includes a heater, a power control circuit, and a memory module. The heater element is configured to heat nicotine pre-vapor formulation. The power control circuit is coupled to the heater element through a wire. The power control circuit is configured to apply a pulse width modulated power signal to the heater element through the wire, and to receive information over the wire. The memory module is configured to detect a plurality of pulses in the pulse width modulated power signal, record information based on the detected plurality of pulses, and output the recorded information to the power control circuit via the wire.

    Abstract: An e-vapor apparatus may include a pod assembly and a dispensing body configured to receive the pod assembly. A vaporizer may be disposed in the pod assembly and/or the dispensing body. The pod assembly may include a vapor precursor compartment, a device compartment, and a vapor channel extending from the device compartment and traversing the vapor precursor compartment. The pod assembly is a smart pod configured to receive, store, and transmit information that can be communicated with the dispensing body and/or another electronic device. The proximal portion of the dispensing body includes a vapor passage and a through-hole. The vapor passage may extend from an end surface of the proximal portion to a side wall of the through-hole. The through-hole is configured to receive the pod assembly such that the vapor channel of the pod assembly is aligned with the vapor passage of the dispensing body.

    Abstract: The cartridge includes a housing, a reservoir containing a pre-vapor formulation, a vapor generator in communication with a central passage, the central passage including a first portion, a second portion and a third portion. The vapor generator is configured to communicate the pre-vapor formulation to the first portion of the central passage. A first air inlet is in communication with the second portion of the central air passage, where the second portion is between the vapor generator and the first air inlet. A dilution air inlet intersects the third portion of the central air passage, where the third portion is between the vapor generator and an outlet of the cartridge. The dilution air inlet defines a dilution air passage that does not pass through the vapor generator. The e-vaping device includes the cartridge.
