Abstract: A termination enclosure includes a chassis configured to hold optical terminations and optical splices. The optical splices are mounted to a removable splice drawer. In certain examples, the splice drawer is removed through a rear of the chassis while the optical terminations remain at the chassis. Optical splices can be made at a workstation remote from the chassis and stored in the splice drawer, which is inserted back into the chassis.

Abstract: A telecommunications chassis comprises a cable sealing portion defining at least one cable opening configured to sealably receive a cable and a module mounting portion extending from the cable sealing portion, which further comprises a housing defining an open front closable by a door to define an interior, a rear wall, a right wall, and a left wall. A plurality of module mounting locations is provided in a vertically stacked arrangement, each configured to receive a telecommunications module through the open front. An exterior of the housing includes a first column of radius limiters defining curved profiles for guiding cables from the front toward the rear with bend control. A second column of radius limiters in the form of spools is spaced apart and generally parallel to the first column of radius limiters and a third column of radius limiters, at least some of which are in the form of spools, is also spaced apart and generally parallel to the first and second columns of radius limiters. The rear wall defines an opening for accessing from the exterior of the housing rear ends of modules to be mounted in the housing for signal input, wherein the exterior also includes a plate at least partially overlapping the opening for protection of cables entering the opening.

Abstract: A bladed chassis system facilitates installation of the bladed chassis system and replacement of the blades at the chassis. For example, a front panel of the blade can be opened either upwardly or downwardly at the discretion of the user. Blades can be inserted and removed from the front and/or the rear of the bladed chassis system at the discretion of the user. Cables can be routed to the rear of the chassis system from either of two sides at the discretion of the user. The blades carried by the chassis have fiber management trays that can be rotationally oriented in any desired rotational position at the discretion of the user.

Abstract: A fiber distribution hub (FDH) provides an interface between an incoming fiber and a plurality of outgoing fibers. The FDH includes a cabinet, at least one door pivotably mounted to the cabinet, and a frame pivotably mounted within the cabinet. The doors wrap around the sides and the front of the cabinet to provide access to both the front and sides of the frame when the doors are open. The frame can pivot out of the cabinet through the open doors to enable access to the rear of the cabinet and the rear side of the frame. The frame includes a termination region and a splitter region. The frame can include a storage region and/or a pass-through region.

Slidable movement of the center portion with respect to the rack mount portion moves the main housing portion with respect to the frame along the sliding direction.

The slide assembly is defined by a rack mount portion, a center portion, and a main housing portion. The center portion includes a latch for unlatching the center portion for slidable movement, wherein movement of the center portion with respect to the rack mount portion moves the main housing portion relative to the frame along the sliding direction. The main housing portion is configured for mounting adapters that receive connectorized cables for routing through the frame. The main housing portion includes electrical contacts for relaying an electrical connection established between an adapter mounted on the main housing portion and an optical connector inserted into the adapter, the electrical connection relayed from the electrical contacts of the main housing portion to a frame controller mounted on the frame via printed circuit boards.
