Abstract: Embodiments of this application provides a communication method in a wireless communication network. A communication device obtains an information bit sequence and obtain a first sequence, wherein the first sequence comprises sequence numbers of N channels ordered in ascending order of channel reliability, wherein N is 1024 and wherein a channel whose sequence number is 0, a channel whose sequence number is 1, and a channel whose sequence number is 2 are ordered in ascending order of channel reliability; then polar encode the information bits based on the first sequence to obtain an encoded bit sequence and output the encoded bit sequence.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for carrying identification information are disclosed, to extend a quantity of bit positions that can represent identification information. The method includes determining, by a base station, bit locations that can be used to carry identification information in to-be-coded bits, where the bit locations that can be used to carry the identification information include locations of fixed bits, the identification information is used to identify a terminal, and the fixed bits are used by the terminal to perform error correction in a decoding process, adding, by the base station, the identification information to the bit locations, and encoding, by the base station in a polar code encoding mode, the to-be-coded bits that carry the identification information, and sending an encoded polar code to the terminal.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method for coding in a wireless communication network. A communication device interleave a first bit sequence to obtain a first interleaved sequence having sequence number starting with a sequence number of 0, wherein the first bit sequence comprises bits for indicating timing, wherein the bits for indicating timing comprises a set of bits for indicating synchronization signal block index (SSBI); wherein the set of bits for indicating SSBI are placed in positions indicated by sequence numbers of 2, 3 and 5 in the first interleaved sequence. The devices add d first CRC bits on the first interleaved sequence to obtain a second bit sequence, interleave on the second bit sequence according to an interleave pattern to obtain a second interleaved sequence, and polar encode the second interleaved sequence to obtain the encoded sequence.

Abstract: A first node obtains first power control information (PCI) based on an information security protection requirement, a maximum transmit power of a second node, and channel information between the first and second nodes. The first PCI is a piece of PCI that is obtained through prediction and that maximizes a signal-to-noise ratio of a received signal of the first node when the information security protection requirement is met. The received signal includes a signal from the second node. In addition, the first node sends the first PCI to the second node, where the first PCI is used by the second node to generate a first signal. The first node then receives the first signal from the second node, where the first signal includes data information and security protection information, and the security protection information is used to protect information security of the data information.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and apparatus, to reduce complexity of a polar code construction process. The method includes: obtaining a to-be-encoded bit sequence, where the to-be-encoded bit sequence includes K information bits, and K is an integer greater than 0; determining a first sequence, where positions of the K information bits in the first sequence are determined based on a second sequence corresponding to a target code rate and a value of K, the second sequence is used to represent selection priorities of N0 bit positions, and N0 is an integer greater than K; performing polar code encoding on the first sequence to obtain a third sequence; and sending the third sequence. The second sequence is designed for a constant code rate, and a same sequence may be used to construct a series of polar codes having a same code rate and different lengths.

Abstract: This application provides example concatenated code encoding and decoding methods. In one example method, polar code encoding is performed on a to-be-encoded message bit sequence based on a frozen bit set and a message bit set that are of a first polar code, to obtain a first encoded code word whose length is N_o. The first encoded code word is interleaved to obtain a second encoded code word, and optimized low-density parity-check (LDPC) code encoding is performed on the second encoded code word to obtain a concatenated code word. Interleaving includes both outer interleaving and inner interleaving. The concatenated code word is then outputted.
