摘要: Embodiments of this application disclose a communication method and a communication apparatus, to reduce a PAPR of a signal sent by a sending device by using an FDSS waveform processing manner, and reduce decoding power consumption of a receiving device by using a polar code encoding manner. This improves communication energy efficiency. In this method, the sending device performs frequency domain spectrum shaping FDSS processing on a first signal, to obtain a second signal, where the first signal is a signal obtained by performing polar code encoding based on a modulation and coding scheme; and then, the sending device sends a target signal to the receiving device, where the target signal is a signal obtained based on the second signal.

The method may be implemented in the following steps: obtaining first location information of a first communication apparatus; processing the first location information by using a neural network, to obtain first channel information, where the first channel information is information about a radio channel between the first communication apparatus and a second communication apparatus; and performing communication based on the first channel information. The neural network is used to estimate channel information based on location information. This can avoid channel estimation based on a pilot signal, reduce overheads of the pilot signal, and improve efficiency and accuracy of estimating the channel information.

A device obtains K information bits and a target code length M of a polar code, determines, according to a minimum value of a set of values, a mother code length N1, polar encodes the K information bits to obtain an encoded sequence of N1 bits, obtains a target sequence of M bits from the N1 bit encoded sequence, and outputs the M-bit target sequence. When the mother code length N1 is larger than the target code length M, (N1−M) bits of the encoded sequence are punctured or shortened from the N1 bit encoded sequence.

摘要: This disclosure provides a data retransmission method and apparatus. The method includes: A transmitting device obtains information to be transmitted for a tth time, where the information to be transmitted for the tth time includes Rt extension locations and information to be transmitted for a (t−1)th time, and the extension locations include Mt information bits and Lt check bits corresponding to the Mt information bits. The transmitting device then performs Polar encoding on the information to be transmitted for the tth time, to obtain a codeword after the Polar encoding, obtains a codeword for (t−1)th retransmission based on the codeword after the Polar encoding, and transmits the codeword for (t−1)th retransmission. A receiving device performs polar decoding after receiving the codeword for (t−1)th retransmission, to obtain a decoding result of codewords for t times of transmission. By performing, on an encoding side, check encoding on the information bits in an extension part, a decoding path can be reduced in a decoding process, thereby greatly reducing decoding complexity, and reducing storage overheads and calculation overheads.

摘要: A polar code encoding method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: obtaining a basic sequence, where the basic sequence is a sequence obtained by sorting sequence numbers of polarized channels in descending order or ascending order of reliability, and a length of the basic sequence is L1; determining, based on a maximum encoding length L2 supported by a receiving device, a quantity M of segments of an information bit sequence whose length is N after encoding, where a quantity of bits in the information bit sequence before the encoding is K; and performing polar code encoding on the M segments based on the basic sequence. According to the polar code encoding method, during polar code construction, an encoding device needs to know only a reliability order of min(N/M, L1) polarized channels. In this way, storage overheads of a nested sequence can be effectively reduced, and online computing complexity can be reduced.
