    摘要： A utensil for a digit of a hand includes a cutting board for disposition between a thumb and an index finger. The cutting board is attached to a retainer that receives and retains the thumb such that a cutting surface of the cutting board is oriented toward the index finger. The cutting surface protects the thumb during cutting of items against the cutting surface. Optionally, one or more tools are defined by, or attached to, the cutting board. In a particular example, a utensil for a digit of a hand having a cutting board is useful at least for cleaning, zesting, peeling, and paring or chopping a fruit or vegetable.

    摘要： A cutting board assembly includes a frame, including a support platform; a cutting board removably retained on the support platform; a grating portion disposed in the support platform; and a peeling portion disposed in the support platform. A container is received by and retained within the frame. The container is movable between a retracted position, in which the container is substantially disposed interior to the frame, and a protracted position, in which the container is substantially disposed exterior to the frame. The grating portion is located relative to the container such that bits of food that are grated using the grating portion are received and retained within the container. The peeling portion is located relative to the container such that portions of food that are cut using the peeling portion are received and retained within the container.

    摘要： A stroller for transporting a child includes a wheeled frame including at least two base rails interconnected by a cylindrical hub, a spine, and a bracing linkage. A basket attaches to the spine, confining the child and supporting a seat ring. The seat ring includes upper and lower connected concentric arcs having different radii and supports a seat back on its lower arc. The seat back reclines, and the seat ring rotates from center. A seat base is supported on the frame and includes a platform movable between an extended position disposed inside the seat ring and a retracted position withdrawn from the seat ring. The stroller permits the child to be safely and comfortably transported in a standing, seated, or reclined position.

    摘要： A method for collecting and filtering biological material from blood and other fluids during a surgical procedure includes: attaching a first cover including a suction port and an intake port to a collection trap; attaching a suction source to the suction port; attaching an instrument to the intake port, through which blood and tissue are suctioned and received into the collection trap; filing the collection trap with blood and tissue; removing the collection trap from the first cover; attaching a second cover to the collection trap in place of the first cover, the second cover including a suction port and a plunger, the plunger including a press head having a screen portion permitting blood and other fluids to pass; attaching a suction source to the suction port of the second cover; separating the blood from the tissue by deploying the plunger; and drawing off the blood through the suction port.

    摘要： Various forms of anti-clog suction tips apparatus are disclosed. For example, an anti-clog suction tip apparatus includes a suction tip assembly having a suction tip with a suction opening at a first end thereof for removing debris through suction, a hose attachment portion for attaching the suction tip assembly to a suction source, and an ejection wire channel. The apparatus further includes an ejection wire assembly having an ejection wire extending within the channel and an ejection button integral with or connected to the ejection wire. Applying a force to the ejection button advances the ejection wire through the channel such that an end portion of the ejection wire enters the suction tip and dislodges debris clogging the suction tip. The ejection wire may include an enlarged end portion such as, for example a ball tip. One or more of the components of the apparatus may be single-use and disposable.
