Abstract: A method, performed by a base station (BS), of indicating a channel occupancy time of an unlicensed band is provided and includes transmitting physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) configuration information to a user equipment (UE), performing a channel access procedure to occupy a channel of the unlicensed band, and transmitting slot format indicator information about at least one slot within a channel occupancy time occupied by performing the channel access procedure, based on the PDCCH configuration information, wherein the slot format indicator information is determined based on at least one of a maximum channel occupancy time of the BS or the channel occupancy time occupied by performing the channel access procedure.

Abstract: A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system includes: receiving at least one downlink control information (DCI) from a base station; determining a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource based on the at least one DCI; and transmitting a PUCCH including hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information to the base station based on the determined PUCCH resource, wherein the determining of the PUCCH resource comprises: in case that a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH)-to-HARQ feedback timing indicator field is present in the at least one DCI, determining the PUCCH resource based on information in the PDSCH-to-HARQ feedback timing indicator field in the at least one DCI; and in case that the PDSCH-to-HARQ feedback timing indicator field is not present in the at least one DCI, determining the PUCCH resource based on an radio resource control (RRC) signaling received from the base station.

A method of a terminal includes receiving, from a base station, downlink control information (DCI) including information indicating a channel occupancy (CO) duration of the base station; identifying a resource associated with a configured grant for an uplink signal within the CO duration; identifying a configuration for a symbol of the resource, in case that a slot format indicator (SFI) for the resource is not provided in the DCI; and transmitting, to the base station, the uplink signal in the resource based on the identified configuration.
