Abstract:
A drum type washing apparatus and a method of processing the wash using the drum type washing apparatus wherein they have a characterizing feature which consists in that the peripheral wall of a rotary drum made of a perforated plate is configured in the form of a wall having a single corrugated portion or a plurality of corrugated portions which do not intersect the direction of centrifugal force generated by rotation of the rotary drum at right angles. Further, they have other characterizing features which consist in that the apparatus is provided with a liquid injecting nozzle and/or a gas blowing nozzle and/or a hot air blowing nozzle for allowing liquid and/or gas and/or hot air to be injected and/or blown into the interior of the rotary drum whereby a period of time required for performing steps of washing, dewatering and drying the wash in the rotary drum can be shortened. Moreover, they have another characterizing feature which consists in that the rotary drum is rotated and air is blown into the interior of the rotary drum while a door is kept opened so that the wash can be discharged from the rotary drum at a high efficiency under the influence of force generated by flowing of the air.
Abstract:
Fe-Cr-Ni-Al ferritic alloy capable of forming hot oxidation/corrosion resistive aluminum oxide scale in the surface thereof by exposure to oxidation environments at elevated temperatures. Due to the ferritic structure, the aluminum oxide scale is formed uniformly and densely to improve scale adherence, or prevent scale flaking. The mechanical properties of the ferritic alloy is considerably improved by incorporation of controlled amounts of Cr, Ni, and Al relative to each other, which are added to precipitate minute Ni-Al intermetallic compounds in the alloy matrix while retaining the ferritic structure. Such minute Ni-Al intermetallic compounds are thought to be responsible for improved mechanical properties, including high temperature strength, tensile strength, hardness and the like. Whereby, the alloy combine excellent hot oxidation/corrosion resistance and improved mechanical properties.

A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising a positive electrode housed in a case a negative electrode arranged in the case so that a separator is sandwiched between the positive and negative electrodes consisting of lithium or lithium-containing material, and a nonaqueous electrolyte contained in the case and prepared by dissolving an electrolytic salt consisting of lithium phosphate hexafluoride (LiPF.sub.6) or lithium borofluoride (LiBF.sub.4) in a solvent mixture consisting of ethylene carbonate, 2-methyltetrahydrofuran, and at least one ester-based nonaqueous solvent selected from the group consisting of butylene carbonate, dimethyl carbonate, .gamma.-butyrolactone, and sulfolane.
Abstract:
An electrically conductive composite material is formed by dispersing in a matrix metal the other metal which is not solid soluble with the matrix metal. The other metal is finely divided to an extent of not excessively lowering the conductivity and is mixed in the matrix metal in a particle amount with which respective particles keep a mutual distance effective to strengthen the composite material, whereby the material is sufficiently improved in the mechanical strength and wear resistance and remarkably reduced in the high temperature deformation. Such conductive composite material can be obtained through a melt atomization.
