The plasma display panel comprises: a plurality of first, second, and third electrodes disposed to be adjacent to each other and extending in a first direction, the third electrodes being provided between the first electrodes and the second electrodes where the discharge is repeated; and a dielectric layer covering the electrodes, wherein the space between the first electrode and the second electrode is approximately constant over an entire display area width of the panel, and a space between the third electrode and the first and second electrodes is varied depending on positions in the entire display area width of the panel in a first direction.

A novel method for driving a plasma display panel and a plasma display device for reducing background emission due to a reset discharge are disclosed. In a three-electrode type PDP, a third (Z) electrode is provided between a first (X) electrode and a second (Y) electrode between which a discharge is caused to occur and when a reset discharge is caused to occur, the third electrode is set to a potential that makes the third electrode function as an anode for the electrode used as a cathode during the reset discharge between the first and second electrodes.

In a manufacturing method for the nozzle plate, circulating a fluid mixed with an abrasive through each nozzle hole is carried out to polish opening ends of the respective nozzle holes which are faced against the external of the fuel injection valve in a form of substantially arc shape of cross section with the abrasive. Furthermore, grinding the respective major surfaces of a punched plate material which becomes the nozzle plate together with vicinities to the respective opening ends of the nozzle holes is carried out.

The present invention relates to a wireless communication system having improved PLL circuits in the RF transmitter and receiver sections. The PLL circuits in the wireless communication system according to the present invention include time constant controllable filters. A series circuit of capacitor and resistor detects turn-on of the power switch for the PLL circuits to generate an output signal to be applied to the filters, thereby controlling the time constant of the filters in the PLL circuits to a lower value than normal for a given time after power-on of the PLL circuits.

In a routing system having a plurality of external input ports and a plurality of external output ports, a switch network having a plurality of internal input ports and a plurality of internal output ports, an input section between the external input ports and the internal input ports, an output section between the internal output ports and the external output ports, and a control section connected to the switch network and the input section, an input port number which may be assigned to each of the external input ports is arranged in a routing information field of a transmission path signal by an input port number setter included in the input section. The input port number is memorized in a discarded cell memory of the control section together with an internal output port number which is assigned to the internal output ports and which is derived from a routing table along with a header. On occurrence of a discarded cell, the cause of discard can be analyzed by the use of the input port number and the header. When a plurality of external input cells are multiplexed into a multiplexed input cell sequence, the input port number may be replaced by the internal output port number in the control section to effectively utilize the routing information field.
