    Abstract: A data processing method and apparatus. The data process method includes: determining, by a transmitting node, a code block length N0 for encoding an information bit sequence to be transmitted according to a data characteristic for representing the information bit sequence to be transmitted and a preset parameter corresponding to the data characteristic; performing, by the transmitting node, polar encoding on the information bit sequence to be transmitted according to the code block length N0; and transmitting, by the transmitting node, a code block obtained through the polar encoding to a receiving node.

    Abstract: The present application relates to methods, systems, and devices related to digital wireless communication, and more specifically, to techniques related to a control channel monitoring procedure. In one exemplary aspect, a method for wireless communication is disclosed. The method includes detecting, by a terminal, an occurrence of an event. The method also includes selecting, by the terminal, a monitoring configuration based on the occurrence of the event. The method also includes resetting or stopping, by the terminal, any of a first timer and/or a second timer based on the occurrence of the event. The method also includes monitoring, by the terminal, a control channel according to the selected monitoring configuration.

    Abstract: Provided are a processing method and device for quasi-cyclic low density parity check (LDPC) coding. The processing method for LDPC coding includes: determining, according to a data feature of an information bit sequence to be encoded, a processing strategy for the quasi-cyclic LDPC coding according to a data feature of an information bit sequence to be encoded; and performing, according to the processing strategy and based on a base matrix and a lifting size, the quasi-cyclic LDPC coding and rate matching output on the information bit sequence according to the processing strategy, a base matrix and a lifting value. This technical solution is able to improve adaptability and flexibility of the quasi-cyclic LDPC coding.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems for reducing Peak Average Power Ratio (PAPR) in signal transmissions are described. In one example aspect, a wireless communication method includes determining, for a time-domain sequence x(i), an output sequence s(k). The output sequence s(k) is an inverse Fourier transform of a frequency-domain sequence S(j). S(j) is an output of a frequency-domain shaping operation based on a frequency-domain sequence Y(j) and a set of coefficients. Y(j) corresponds to the time-domain sequence x(i) based on a parameter N. The number of non-zero coefficients in the set of coefficients is based on N, and values of the non-zero coefficients correspond to phase values distributed between 0 to π/2 to reduce a peak to average power ratio of the output sequence. The method also includes generating a waveform using the output sequence s(k).
