Abstract: A plastic floor tile is formed by molding a body of a first polymer compound and overmolding features onto the body from a second polymer compound. The compounds may be different from each other in hardness and/or color. The overmolded features may include raised pads on the upper surface of the tile. The pads on the upper surface may be injection-molded from the lower surface through through-holes, which are smaller in area than the area of the pads.

Abstract: A guiding means at a joint between boards, the joint comprising groove and tongue preferably intended to be joined by means of glue. The tongue includes at least one guiding wedge. A fitting clearance between the tongue and the groove includes a first fitting clearance and a second, guiding, fitting clearance. The second, guiding, fitting clearance is obtained through the guiding wedges which are arranged parallel to the extension of the joint. The first fitting clearance comprises the main part of the fit and the second, guiding fitting clearance comprises a smaller part of the fit. The first fitting clearance is in the range 0.1-1 mm, while the second, guiding, fitting clearance is in the range 0.01-0.2 mm. The tongue of the joint is provided with at least one equalising recess so that at least one equalising cavity is formed in the joint, which equalising cavity receives surplus glue used during the joining.

Abstract: A portable floor system has a plurality of modular floor sections each formed by floorboards and a subfloor for support and each having either a tongue or a groove at its periphery. A plurality of spaced-apart floor joists extend downwardly from the subfloor. The tongues and grooves are matingly arranged. Mounted to the undersurface of each floor section are one or more wedging clips configured to cooperate with a clip of an adjacent section to interconnect adjacent floor sections.
