A manual spray head can be connected with a flexible hose line by means of a coupling that has a ball-and-socket joint inserted between the manual spray head and the hose line. This arrangement not only increases the mobility and flexibility between the manual spray head and the flexible hose line, but also permits twisting of the manual spray head relative to the hose line without fear of unscrewing the screw-type connection or similar coupling provided between the manual spray head and the hose line.

A cam actuated fuel injector is assembled by engaging an internal thread of a tappet with an external thread of an injector body. The tappet is then rotated with respect to the injector body about a centerline until the internal thread disengages the external thread so that the tappet is then slidable along the centerline. The tappet is biased toward a pre-installation position in which the external thread contacts the internal thread. After installation, the respective internal and external threads guide the sliding movement interaction between the tappet and the injector body when the fuel injector is operational.

In the present invention, functions of both a nozzle change drive mechanism configured to move a desired one of a plurality of nozzles to an ejection position and a nozzle moving drive mechanism configured to move the desired nozzle to apply a fluid to an application surface are realized by the nozzle moving drive mechanism.The present invention includes: a rotating portion (27) having first to third nozzles (23); a base portion (28) configured to support the rotating portion (27); a variable nozzle (22) configured to move a desired one (23) of the first to third nozzles to an ejection position (T) to eject a fluid, supplied from the base portion (28) side, from the desired nozzle; an engaging portion (47) provided at the rotating portion (27); and an engaged portion (48) provided at a mounting base (50), wherein the desired nozzle (23) is moved to the ejection position (T) by moving the base portion (28) by a robot arm with the engaging portion (47) engaging with the engaged portion (48).

A swivel fitting used to connect to various components in a fluid handling system is provided. The swivel fitting incorporates an annular chamfer surface to reduce the affect that the fitting has on the flow properties of the fluid when the fluid is caused to flow through the fitting. The use of the swivel fitting in a paint supply line is also described.

The invention relates to a nozzle (1) for applying a coating agent, in particular for applying wax during seam sealing or for applying a preserving agent during cavity preservation on a vehicle body component, with an elongated hollow lance (4) for feeding the coating agent to be applied through the lance (4) along its longitudinal axis (17), as well as at least one nozzle opening (10, 11) for dispensing the coating agent, wherein the nozzle opening (10, 11) is arranged in the lateral surface of the lance (4) and dispenses the coating agent sidewards with respect to the longitudinal axis (17) of the lance (4). It is suggested that the nozzle opening (10, 11) is rotatable about the longitudinal axis (17) of the lance (4), so that the coating agent can be dispensed in different directions according to the angular position of the nozzle opening (10, 11).

The present invention is an adjustable shower saddle that connects a water supply to a shower. The saddle has: an anchor for attaching to the water supply, the anchor having an inner contour for attaching to the water supply and an outer contour that corresponds to a multi-dimensional range of motion that may be taken by the saddle, and a conduit for conducting fluid; a bracket that has an outlet, a second conduit attaching to the outlet and, an interior surface conforming to the shape of the outer contour of the anchor; and, a lock member having a third conduit for conducting fluid from the first conduit to the second conduit, wherein the lock member attaches the bracket to the anchor.

Output of a showerhead system is selectable between a plurality of spray modes using a control mode selector located adjacent to a shower pipe. The showerhead system also includes an adjustment mechanism located near or about the shower pipe to pivotably adjust the position of the showerhead. The showerhead system also has dual support structures in the form of arms extending between the control mode selector and the showerhead. The dual arms each house one or more hoses that may be flexible and transport water from the mode selector can be adjusted to direct water to individual hoses or simultaneously to multiple hoses.
