Abstract: Provided are a centrifugal battery liquid injection mechanism and a liquid injection method thereof. The centrifugal battery liquid injection mechanism comprises a liquid injection device and a driving device, the liquid injection device is provided with a piston mechanism and a liquid outlet head capable of being opened and closed, and one end of the liquid injection device close to the liquid outlet head is further provided with a liquid injection port capable of being opened and closed; and the liquid injection port is used for injecting a wetting liquid into the liquid injection device. The liquid injection device is connected with a to-be-wetted device through the liquid outlet head, so as to inject the wetting liquid into the to-be-wetted device. The driving device is connected with the to-be-wetted device for driving the to-be-wetted device to move.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a tool for holding a spray painting instrument, such as a painting gun for painting an internal surface of a pipe. In particular, the inventive tool is ideal for painting the interior of curves and angles in a pipe and is capable of moving through and uniformly painting up to 90 degree angles of pipes or hollow tubes. The tool has a hollow central tube for carrying a spray-painting gun and at least two projections extending outwardly from an outer surface of the hollow tube. A retracting arm assembly is provided on each projection. Each retracting arm assembly includes first and second retracting arms and a corresponding force exertion mechanism. In operation, when the tool is inserted inside the pipe, each retracting arm touches the internal surface of the pipe due to an outward force exerted thereon. The tool is movable inside the pipe and adjusts automatically to different pipe diameters. The tool can be used manually or in an automated fashion to push and pull the paint gun and paint the interior of a pipe.

Abstract: A lithographic apparatus includes a support table and a gas extraction system. The gas extraction system is configured to extract gas from a gap between a base surface of the support table and a substrate through at least one gas extraction opening when the substrate is being lowered onto the support table. The lithographic apparatus is configured such that gas is extracted from the gap at a first loading flow rate when the distance between the substrate and the support plane is greater than a threshold distance and gas is extracted from the gap at a second loading flow rate when the distance between the substrate and the support plane is less than the threshold distance, wherein the second loading flow rate is lower than the first loading flow rate.

Abstract: A mist generating apparatus is provided for suppressing foreign material from becoming airborne prior to an application of a surface coat or treatment to a substrate. The assembly includes a frame assembly that may include a base mount and an intermediate mount movably coupled to the base mount. The apparatus includes an extension assembly movably coupled to the frame assembly and selectively positioned between a retracted position and an extended position. A manifold is coupled to the extension assembly, and the manifold is in fluid communication with a volatile liquid. The apparatus includes a spray nozzle in fluid communication with the manifold, The spray nozzle is configured for directing a mist of the volatile liquid to a portion of the substrate for at least temporarily suppressing foreign material.

Abstract: A thermal spraying method for coating an inner surface of a cylinder of an internal combustion engine or of a piston engine. The method includes applying a thermal spray layer onto the inner surface of the cylinder so as to obtain a coated inner surface, inserting an optical sensor device into the cylinder, and scanning the coated inner surface via the optical sensor device in order to detect at least one of a ridge and an indentation in the thermal spray layer. A thermal spray torch for the method includes an optical sensor device which is inserted into the cylinder and to scan the coated inner surface of the cylinder so as to detect at least one of a ridge and an indentation in the coated inner surface.

Abstract: A spray nozzle assembly includes a nozzle tip and a nozzle tip adapter. The nozzle tip adapter may include a visually perceptible indicia that corresponds uniquely to an offset angle value of the nozzle tip adapter. In one embodiment, the visually perceptible indicia may comprise a unique color for each offset angle among a selectable group of nozzle tip adapters. Another feature is a locator tool that includes an adjustable holder that is fixed in position relative to a spray nozzle tip or orifice during an alignment operation, and repositioned away from the nozzle tip during a spraying operation. The adjustable holder may include a measurement member to determine one or more distances between the nozzle tip or orifice and a location on a workpiece that will be coated or sprayed.

A jetter nozzle may be configured to spin and/or propel the camera head within a pipe or other cavity. A cutter line may be attached to the camera head to clean obstructions. A sonde may be coupled to a camera head to generate magnetic field signals for use with a buried utility locator to locate a pipe or other cavity into which the camera head is deployed.
