摘要:
An adjustable shelf is able to be initially attached to support structure within a storage area of a cabinet at any one of a multitude of vertical heights and then can be readily, mechanically adjusted to reposition the shelf as desired. In one embodiment, the shelf includes a pair of sprockets which are interengaged with mating slots formed in a pair of similarly constructed and laterally spaced support rails positioned within the cabinet. The drive arrangement for the sprockets can be manually, electrically or otherwise driven to provide infinite adjustments for the vertical shelf. When an electrical power motor is utilized as the drive source, the motor is preferably mounted upon a frame of the shelf and electrical power is transmitted to the motor through, at least in part, the support rail structure. In addition, the adjustable shelf carries at least one shift limiting member that can be positioned in either an in-use position, wherein the shift limiting member assures that the sprockets are maintained in engagement with the support rails, or in a release position, wherein the shelf can be either removed from or mounted upon the rails. In addition, the support rails are preferably constructed to accommodate various types of shelves in order to present a more universal, overall shelving assembly.

The present invention provides an assembly unit of frame structure which comprises a column body, a cover body, and a fastening element. By assembling a predetermined number of the assembly units to incorporate with a plurality of supporting frame through an easy and prompt assembly process, a frame structure of desired shape can be quickly and easily constructed for use. The frame structure can be construct by the assembly unit of the present invention into various shape, such as rectangular shape or right triangular shape, without any special tools or technology.

A moveable shelf is provided for a shelf system containing shelves in a stack arrangement mounted to uprights or side walls. The uprights or side walls include one or more shelf support members which support the shelves. One or more of the shelves are movable out from the shelf stack, either by way of a telescoping support member, or otherwise, to permit movement of such shelf or shelves to or past a lower shelf. After an upper shelf or shelves are moved vertically past a lower shelf, the upper shelf or shelves can be moved back into alignment with the lower shelf. In this arrangement, the upper shelf or shelves thereby become positioned below the lower shelf to permits easy access to the upper shelf or shelves.

An appliance including a compartment liner having a back wall, side walls, and rounded corners connecting the back wall to the side walls includes a shelf mounting system having a linear portion secured to the back wall, a hooked portion forming one edge of the linear portion and a folded leg forming an opposite edge. Spacer members extend between the linear portion and the back wall of the liner. A vertical series of slots to receive shelf brackets is laterally offset to the outside of a vertical series of fastener apertures.

A shelf ladder reinforcement member is provided for use with a refrigerator having a thin liner which defines an interior compartment and in which a shelf ladder is to be secured for supporting shelves. The shelf ladder reinforcement member has a length greater than a width and has end portions with flat faces of a width substantially the same as the width of the member and intermediate portions having a flat face with a width less than the width of the member. A central portion may also be provided with a flat face having a width substantially the same as the width of the member with the first, second and third flat faces adjoining each other in a coplanar fashion. The shelf ladder reinforcement member has side walls which are angled away from the flat faces to strengthen and reinforce the member. The side walls at the first and third flat faces extend away from the flat faces by an angle of approximately 270.degree. while the side walls at the second flat faces extend away from the second flat faces at an angle in the range of 185.degree.-265.degree. and preferably in the range of 220.degree.-230.degree.. Apertures are formed in the end portions and in the central portion for receiving a fastening member with the apertures formed approximately in the center of the first and third flat faces.

A prefabricated, fully adjustable, modular article display system is provided which not only gives the appearance of a built-in, customized design but also may be installed against a wall surface in hiding relationship thereto so that overall finishing of the wall prior to installation of the display units is obviated. This significantly reduces the costs which a property owner or leaseholder must pay for finishing the interior of a retail area in which the units are used. The system is made up of a number of display modules each having a pair of upright, slotted standards which rest on the floor adjacent the wall and that are held thereagainst by clips on the standards which interlock with a Z-shaped tie bar adapted to be secured to the wall. A cantilever mounted valance and soffit assembly adjustably carried by each pair of standards immediately below the ceiling has illuminating means therein for directing light onto the displayed articles therebelow. A finished back panel held in a frame supported by the standards hides the wall therebehind and decorative colored valance panels covering the front portion of each soffit and valance assembly may be easily reversed or replaced as desired with a different outwardly facing colored panel for correlation with seasonal merchandising promotions. The entire system is prefabricated in a manner permitting rapid installation thereof at the site of use by relatively unskilled labor with a minimum of tools.

THE OVERHEAD BUNK LINKAGE FOR POSITIONING AND SUPPORTING ASSISTS IN MANIPULATING A LOAD SUCH AS A BUNK BED BETWEEN STORAGE AND USE POSITIONS, SPACED LINKAGE ASSEMBLIES ARE LOCATED ON ADJACENT EACH END OF THE BUNK DESIGNED TO OPERATE IN SPACED PLANAR REGIONS PERPENDICULAR TO THE BUNK. EACH LINKAGE ASSEMBLY HAS FRONT AND REAR DOWNWARDLY EXTENDING SUPPORT LINKS, EACH LINK MOUNTED FOR SWINGING MOVEMENT FROM AN UPPER SUPPORT REGION WHERE SPRING MEANS ARE PROVIDED TO URGE THE LOWER ENDS OF THE FRONT THE REAR LINKS TOWARD EACH OTHER, ADJACENT THE LOWER ENDS OF THE LINKS, TRACKS ARE PROVIDED ON THE ENDS OF THE BUNK EXTENDING ADJACENT THE PLANE OF THE SWING OF THE LINKS WITH A SLIDING CONNECTION BETWEEN THE LINKS AND THE TRACKS. THE TRACKS EXTEND FRONT AND REAR FROM THE CENTRAL REGION OF THE BUNK AND PREFERABLY ARE INCLINED UPWARD IN THEIR PATH TOWARD FRONT AND REAR. WITH THIS SLIDING CONNECTION AND A SUBSTANTIAL SWINGING FORCE ON THE LINKS, THE DIRECTION OF MOVEMENT OF THE LINKS RELATIVE TO THE INCLINED TRACKS EXERTS COMPONENTS OF LIFTING FORCE UPWARD ON THE BANK THUS TO ASSIST MANUAL MANIPULATION OF THE BUNK TOWARD AND AWAY FROM A STORAGE POSITION.
