摘要： A crossbar clamp actuator of a crossbar-to-vehicle coupler may include a horizontally traveling wedge block having a ramped, downward-facing first slide surface, and a wedge follower having a second slide surface in frictional contact with the first slide surface of the traveling wedge block. Substantially horizontal repositioning of the traveling wedge block may cause the ramped first slide surface to urge the wedge follower downward, thereby actuating a crossbar clamp.

The roof rack foot is configured to be secured to the roof or the cross bar by the clamping portion by operating the adjustment mechanism with the actuation device. The actuation device and the engagement zone are at least partially provided on opposite sides of the clamping portion in at least one operating condition of the roof rack foot.

摘要： A rack for a truck, SUV or vehicle is disclosed herein which allows the user to lift a load above a roof of the vehicle. The load can be secured to the roof via the rack. Rotating rails are attached to a stationary rails. The stationary rails are mounted to the roof of the vehicle. A basket may be traversably slideable from the rotating rails to the stationary rails. The rotating rails may be lifted up after loading a basket to also lift the basket and the load up and allow the basket to slide onto the stationary rails. Once the basket and load are on the stationary rails, the basket is locked into place with a lock so that the load remains in place while the user is driving.

摘要： Provided herein is a security mounting bracket device that can be used to securely connect a crossbar to a mounted object. The device is shaped to form a contoured fit with the crossbar and adapted for use with a security nut and bolt rendering both nut and bolt unexposed outside of the device and inaccessible to tools that may be used to forcibly remove the mounted object. The security mounting bracket device can be used as an antitheft device as a security socket is required to remove the nut from the security mounting bracket. The contoured fit reduces the movement of the crossbar within the security mounting bracket device therefore reducing vibrationally induced failure of the mount and loss of mounted object. The security mounting bracket device smooth edges and unexposed nut and bolt also make it a safer bracket for the user in assembly. The size and contour of the security mounting bracket device can be customized to connect any shape of a crossbar to a mounted object such as a guide rail attached to a platform or to a platform directly. The crossbar can be mounted perpendicularly or at other angles, to the security mounting bracket device or and can be used to connect a plurality of mounted objects for example platforms for tents or cargo containers.

摘要： An improved modular vehicle accessory clamp for is disclosed. The clamp provides for gross and fine adjustment between the jaws to allow for differences in the width of vehicle roof rack cross bars. 摘要： A roof cargo box system for transporting an article on a vehicle includes a roof cargo box and a roof cargo box carrier for mounting on a vehicle. The box includes a flexible shell for accommodating the article to be transported. The roof cargo box defines a longitudinal axis and has at least three frames which extend in respective planes transversely to the longitudinal axis. The frames are configured to receive the flexible shells spanned thereon. A scissors mechanism pulls the frames into a predetermined spaced relationship to each other along the longitudinal axis. The carrier for mounting a roof cargo box on the vehicle includes a first attachment unit for mounting on the vehicle and a second attachment unit for attachment to the roof cargo box. The roof cargo box carrier also includes a separable mechanism for rotating the attachment units relative to each other by at least 90°.
