    摘要: A railroad tie plate has a generally prismatic body including a field side flange and a gauge side flange connected by an intermediate portion. The intermediate portion includes a rail seat for positioning a railroad rail. At least one of the flanges includes a protrusion extending in a thickness dimension of the tie plate. A hole extends into the at least one protrusion so as to receive a retaining device, such as an e-clip. The tie plate is made by hot forging, having a microstructure comprising pearlite and alpha-ferrite. The net shape of the tie plate may be achieved by forging without subsequent material addition and without subsequent material removal.

The bedplate includes a bearing surface formed on its underside associated with the foundation and also a through-opening, a spring element for exerting an elastic holding-down force on a rail foot and a clamping screw, which braces the spring element against the bedplate. The clamping screw is guided with its threaded shaft through the through-opening of the bedplate. The clamping screw acts with its screw head against the spring element and is screwed into a thread provided in a region of the through-opening of the bedplate. A free space is provided in a region underneath the bedplate in the extension of the through-opening of the bedplate, into which the threaded shaft of the clamping screw can be inserted.

    摘要: A base plate includes a lateral support section and a lateral contact surface which delimits a supporting area formed on a top side of the base plate for a foot of a rail. A through-hole leading from the top side to the underside of the support section is formed into an edge area of the support section abutting the lateral contact surface. The through-hole has a basic shape which is angular in cross-section. The surface of the edge area meets with the contact surface in an upper marginal edge. A lateral surface of the through-hole assigned to the contact surface at least over a partial area of its height changes into an inclined surface which rises in the direction of the upper marginal edge of the contact surface and ends at the surface of the edge area.

    摘要: Retention devices, and methods for retention devices, to retain a railway tie plate are disclosed. The retention devices may include a head section with one or more protrusions adapted to engage a railway rail. The retention devices may include an insert section adapted to fit in a spike hole of a railway tie plate and including one or more flexible members extending from the head section. Each flexible member may allow flex adjustment when the insert section is inserted in the spike hole of the railway tie plate. When the insert section is inserted in the spike hole of the railway tie plate, the head section may engage the railway rail and the insert section may engage the railway tie plate to mechanically interlock the railway tie plate with the railway rail to allow suspension of the railway tie plate from the railway rail.
