    Abstract: An electrical plug connector includes a metallic shell, a first insulated housing, a second insulated housing, a first terminal module, and a second terminal module. The first terminal module includes the first terminals and the first assembling block combined with each other to form a one-piece member, and then the first insulated housing is further combined with the first terminal module. The second terminal module includes the second terminals and the second assembling block combined with each other to form a one-piece member, and then the second insulated housing is further combined with the second terminal module. The four-piece component is assembled into the metallic shell. Accordingly, the number of the components for manufacturing the connector can be reduced, thereby simplifying the assembling procedure for the connector.

    Abstract: An electrical plug connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing in the metallic shell, plug terminals held in the insulated housing, and a hook member. Hook portions of the hook member extend into the insertion cavity of the insulated housing. Each hook portion forms a first positioning portion and a second positioning portion. When the electrical plug connector is mated with an electrical receptacle connector, the electrical plug connector can be positioned with the electrical receptacle connector through multiple contacts, thereby preventing the electrical plug connector from shaking.

    Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulated housing, receptacle terminals, and a metallic shell. The insulated housing includes a base portion and a tongue portion outwardly extending from the base portion. Two metal sheets are arranged at two sides of the tongue portion. Each of the metal sheets includes a hook structure protruding from a side portion of the tongue portion and a through hole adjacent to the hook structure. The receptacle terminals are held in the base portion and disposed at the surface of the tongue portion. The metallic shell includes a receptacle cavity. The insulated housing is held in the receiving cavity. The contact arms are formed by the through holes of the metal sheets in an elastic manner, to avoid the hooks on both sides of the electrical plug connector in contact with the metal sheets in a poor interference manner.

    Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulated housing, receptacle terminals, and a metallic shell. The insulated housing includes a base portion and a tongue portion outwardly extending from the base portion. A coverage region adjacent to the base portion is held on a surface of the tongue portion. The receptacle terminals are held in the base portion and disposed at the surface of the tongue portion. The receptacle terminals include a body portion and a contact portion, the body portion is held in the base portion and the tongue portion, and the contact portion is outwardly extending from one end of the body portion. Each of the receptacle terminals includes an avoidance portion between the contact portion and the body portion. The avoidance portion of each of the receptacle terminals is covered by the coverage region of the tongue portion.

    Abstract: An optical fiber adapter includes housing, a base body, an occluder, and optical fiber components. A first end surface of the housing includes an insertion opening. A second end surface of the housing includes a connection opening. A through groove is in the housing, and the insertion opening communicates with the connection opening through the through groove. The first end surface includes positioning portions around a periphery of the insertion opening. A hook portion is extending outwardly from the positioning portion. The base body is in the through groove of the housing. The occluder is connected to the partition plate. The optical fiber component is at the assembling portion. The housing of the optical fiber adapter does not have the protruding portions. Hence, several optical fiber adapters can be densely arranged side-by-side. Therefore, the number of the adapters arranged in the optical fiber cassette can be increased.

    Abstract: A plug electrical connector including an insulator, a pair of side-latches, a terminal set, and a shielding shell is provided. The pair of side-latches and a plurality of terminals of the terminal set are arranged along a first axis, and each of them extends along a second axis. The pair of side-latches and the terminal set are respectively disposed in the insulator, and the pair of side-latches are located on two sides of the terminal set. The shielding shell covers the insulator along the second axis. The side-latch includes at least one protrusion exposed out of the insulator along a third axis and structurally leaning against the shielding shell, such that the shielding shell is electrically connected with the pair of side-latches. The first axis, the second axis, and the third axis are orthogonal to each other.

    Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, a terminal module in the metallic shell, a baffle plate at a rear portion of the metallic shell, and conductive ground legs. Accordingly, the baffle plate is at the rear portion of the metallic shell, and the conductive ground legs are at two sides of the metallic shell. Therefore, during the connector transmits data, the produced noises are shielded by the baffle plate, and the current formed by the noises is guided to a circuit board through the conductive ground legs, thus the noises are grounded and diminished. The conductive ground legs are adjacent to the baffle plate. Hence, the current flowing through the baffle plate is guided to the circuit board through the conductive ground legs, with a shorter path. Therefore, the current would not have antenna effect easily on the path, and the noise spreading can be reduced.
