Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a method for performing energy analytics in a building management system. The method can include collecting respective data samples of one or more variables from building equipment during a first period of time and a second period of time. The method can include calculating a first plurality of values for one or more energy audit metrics based on the data samples collected during the first period of time and the second period of time. The method can include comparing the first plurality of values and second plurality of values. The method can include displaying, based on the comparison, at least one of the first plurality of values and/or at least one of the second plurality of values on a dashboard to facilitate adjustment of the one or move variables.

Abstract: A method for providing environmental comfort includes obtaining measurements of a dry bulb temperature, a relative humidity, and an airflow rate for an indoor space, calculating an apparent temperature for the indoor space using the measurements, and generating a visualization comprising a comfort band and a value of each of the apparent temperature, the dry bulb temperature, the relative humidity, and the airflow rate for the indoor space plotted relative to the comfort band along independent axes. The method also includes controlling building equipment to drive the value of one or more of the apparent temperature, the dry bulb temperature, the relative humidity, or the airflow rate into the comfort band.

Abstract: A building management system includes building equipment operable to affect a physical state or condition of a building, a system manager coupled to equipment via a system bus, and a cloud-based data platform. The system manager is configured to obtain timeseries data from the building equipment and generate a request for a timeseries identifier based on the timeseries data. The cloud-based data platform includes a timeseries service configured to receive the request for the timeseries identifier from the system manager, create a timeseries for the building equipment, assign the timeseries identifier to the timeseries, and send the timeseries identifier to the system manager. The system manager is configured to generate a timeseries sample comprising the timeseries data and send the timeseries sample to the timeseries service along with the timeseries identifier which identifies the timeseries sample as a sample of the timeseries.

Abstract: A building system includes one or more storage devices having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to receive an unstructured user question from a user device of a user and query a graph database based on the unstructured user question to extract context associated with the unstructured user question from contextual information of a building stored by the graph database, wherein the graph database stores the contextual information of the building through nodes and edges between the nodes, wherein the nodes represent equipment, spaces, people, and events associated building and the edges represent relationships between the equipment, spaces, people, and events. The instructions further cause the one or more processors to retrieve data from one or more data sources based on the context and compose a presentation based on the retrieved data.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are related to a method, a system, and a non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions for operating a group of central plant equipment to serve thermal energy loads of a building or building system. In one approach, a base capacity of one or more devices of the group of central plant equipment is identified. A change in requested load allocated to the one or more devices crossing the base capacity at a crossover time may be detected. In one approach, an adjusted capacity of the one or more devices is set such that the adjusted capacity is offset from the base capacity before the crossover time and decays toward the base capacity during a decay period after the crossover time. The requested load allocated may be compared with the adjusted capacity after the crossover time. The group of central plant equipment may be operated according to the comparison.
