Abstract: Provided are a submandibular gland tissue biomarker for diagnosis, prognosis prediction, or treatment of Parkinson's disease (PD), a method for diagnosing or predicting the prognosis of PD using the same, and a method for screening substances for treating PD, where it has been confirmed that an SNCAIP gene is significantly decreased and the level of 15 types of miRNA is increased in tissues collected from submandibular gland tissues, and thus PD may be diagnosed using the marker, particularly for subject groups in which the presence or absence of PD cannot be determined by α-synuclein, and since the marker reflects the correlation between genes and environmental factors identified in subjects with PD, the marker can be used as a diagnostic and prognostic biomarker, as well as a new therapeutic target for pathological mechanism of PD.

Abstract: An embodiment relates to a safety vitreous body cutting device capable of safely removing only a vitreous body attached to a retina without damaging the retina. Here, the safety vitreous body cutting device includes a tubular body part, a cutter part, and a safety net part. The tubular body part is formed in a cylindrical shape, negative pressure is provided at the inside, and an open hole is formed on the outer circumferential surface of a distal end. The cutter part reciprocates along the axial direction of the tubular body part at the inside of the tubular body part to cut the vitreous body introduced into the open hole. The safety net part is provided at the distal end of the tubular body part, and allows the vitreous body to pass through, but prevents the retina tissue from passing through.

Abstract: An embodiment provides a method for measuring a femoral anterior angle and a tibial torsion angle by using artificial intelligence, the method comprising the steps of: (a) obtaining, by a CT scanner, 2D CT images of the femur, the tibia, and the malleolus of a patient; (b) storing, in a big-data unit, the 2D CT images transmitted from the CT scanner; (c) setting, by an artificial intelligence unit, a first baseline related to the femoral head and neck, a second baseline related to the lower femoral, a third baseline related to the upper tibial, and a fourth baseline related to the malleolus, on the basis of the 2D CT images; and (d) measuring, by an angle measurement unit, a femoral anterior angle formed between the first baseline and the second baseline, and a tibial torsion angle formed between the third baseline and the fourth baseline.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of developing a tissue-specific vascular endothelial cell line based on iPSCs derived from human tissue-specific cells. When an organoid is manufactured using the cell line based on the iPSCs derived from human tissue-specific cells, the organoid manufacturing period may be significantly shortened, thereby solving the problem of sustainability, which is a major drawback known in the related art, and may be stored conveniently, and thus may be easily used during each experiment, thereby greatly increasing efficiency. Also, the organoid manufactured from the cell line of the present invention may be usefully used in the manufacture of blood vessel organoids in that the organoid is not only tissue-specific but also exhibits an excellent level of morphological and functional maturity.
