Abstract: A user equipment (UE) communicates with transmission-reception points (TRPs). When the UE generates uplink control information (UCI), it determines a higher layer index (HLI) value to target the UCI to the appropriate TRP. (Possible values of the HLI are associated with the TRPs.) For UCI on Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH), the HLI value may be determined: based on an HLI value configured for a control resource set (CORESET), or for particular Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) resources; based on UCI type or spatial relation data or an index related to PUCCH resources. For UCI on a configured-grant Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH), the HLI value may be based on higher layer signals or an indicator relating to channel sounding on spatial relation data. For UCI on MsgA PUSCH in a two-step random access procedure, the HLI value may be based on PUSCH resource unit or PUSCH opportunity.

Abstract: A method and apparatus configuring default beams are described. In some embodiments, the method of wireless communication at a User Equipment (UE) comprises: receiving, from a base station, configuration information for configuring a default beam for the physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) to use on condition that an offset between reception of downlink control information (DCI) in the scheduling physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and corresponding PDSCH is less than a threshold and at least one Transmission Configuration Indicator (ICI) states includes spatial receiving parameters for configuring a quasi-co-location; configuring, by the UE, a default beam configuration for the PDSCH based on the configuration information and a monitored control resource set (CORESET) with a lowest CORESET identifier (ID) from among a set of CORESETs in a latest slot in a same bandwidth part (BWP), wherein at least one CORSET of the set of CORESETs includes more than one TCI state; and receiving a transmission using the default beam.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for muting resource elements used for wireless communications is disclosed. In one aspect, a method can include actions of obtaining, by user equipment (UE), configuration data that indicates a frequency density of muted resource blocks, identifying, by the UE and based on a value of an antenna ports information element in downlink control information (DCI) that schedules a PUSCH transmission, a group of resource elements within the muted resource blocks, determining, by the UE, a muted resource pattern (MRP) within the RBs for the scheduled PUSCH based on the frequency density of the muted resource blocks and the identified group of resource elements, and transmitting, by the UE, an allocation of RBs for PUSCH without transmission on the identified group of resource elements of the determined MRP.

Abstract: A wireless user equipment (UE) may employ any of various mechanisms for reporting signal quality measurements to a wireless network. The UE may impose a time delay between measurement and reporting, based on a delay parameter K. The UE may average measurements obtained at different measurement instances. The UE may employ any of various schemes for prioritizing transmission of one type of report over another, when temporal collisions occur between different types of report. The UE may employ a differential report that includes a state for indicating that a beam is not workable. The UE may employ a beam index that includes a state for indicating an invalid beam. A base station may receive a signal quality report and determine workability of a beam, e.g., by triggering a report of channel state information.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems are disclosed for providing traffic information pertaining to a data traffic group, e.g., for use in 3GPP XR communications. Abstract: A base station may transmit to a device an indication of codebook subset restriction (CBSR), which includes at least a restriction on a frequency basis. The device may receive the indication of CBSR, and may transmit to the base station channel state information (CSI) according to the received indication of CBSR. The indication of CBSR may also include a restriction on a spatial basis and restrict the device from reporting the CSI based on a subset of the frequency basis in addition to the spatial basis per configuration of the base station. The indication of CBSR may include a separately configured maximum allowed amplitude of a weighting coefficient for the spatial basis and the frequency basis, where the weighting coefficient is associated with a column vector of a precoding matrix used by the base station and the device. The number of frequency bases and the frequency compression units may be determined based on a number of different criteria, for example the number of antennas, the number of subbands, etc.
