摘要: Improved configured grants (CGs) may include the designation of a footprint corresponding to uplink transmission of a UE, with the footprint at least partially defined by the occupied transmission time, occupied transmission frequency, and transmission power. The footprint may be adjustable and/or selectable by the UE according to the current traffic needs of the UE and within limits set for the footprint via prior signaling from the base station to the UE. The UE may indicate the actual footprint parameters/values for the UE's uplink data transmissions by transmitting CG uplink control information (CG-UCI) inclusive of the actual footprint values to the base station. The UE may transmit the CG-UCI over resources configured according to additional parameter values received via the prior signaling from the base station. The UE may further transmit uplink data on resources configured according to the actual footprint values.

摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for application function (AF) key generation and AF key renewal. A user equipment device (UE) may communicate with an application function (AF) via a radio access network (RAN) using a first AF key and determine that the first AF key has expired. The UE may derive a second AF key based on at least an Architecture for Authentication and Key Management for Applications (AKMA) anchor key (KAKMA) and a counter parameter and communicate with the AF via the RAN using the second AF key. At least one of the UE, the AF, and/or an AKMA Anchor Function (AAnF) may be configured to monitor expiration of the first AF key based on an associated lifetime of the first AF key. The first and second AF keys may be derived using a key derivation function that includes at least one variable parameter.

Based on the UE's capability for CCS with different SCS, a number of unicast downlink control information (DCI) per physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasion per span may be processed to determine scheduled resources for downlink (DL) and uplink (UL) signaling or channels. The DL and UL signaling or channels may be processed using the scheduled resources.

摘要: Beam failure recovery (BFR) in a multiple Downlink Control Information (mDCI) mode may include receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a Downlink Reference Signal (DL RS) set from a next generation Node B (gNB). The DL RS set may be associated with a link between the UE and the gNB and indicate beam failure detection (BFD) is to be performed for the link. The BFR may further include performing, by the UE, a beam failure detection (BFD) for the link using the DL RS set, and performing, by the UE, a candidate beam detection (CBD) for the link, the CBD determining a candidate beam for the link by determining a beam having a reference signal receiving power (RSRP) that is larger than an RSRP threshold. The BFR may further include transmitting, by the UE, a beam failure recovery request (BFRQ) indicating the link to the gNB.

摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for channel access scheme enhancements for systems operating in unlicensed higher frequency bands. A wireless device may perform channel access detection (CAD) measurements on a channel at a first periodicity, determine a CAD metric based on the CAD measurements at a second periodicity, and select, for the channel, a first channel access scheme from a plurality of channel access schemes based on comparison of the CAD metric to a threshold. The first channel access scheme may include a first set of channel access procedures that may define physical channels and signals to utilize respective channel procedures. In instances when the CAD metric is below the threshold, the first channel access scheme may include accessing a channel using a first listen before talk (LBT) procedure that is less restrictive than a second LTB procedure used when the CAD metric is above the threshold.

A user equipment device (UE) may receive, via a first reception path, an RRM related signal and receive, via a second reception path, a non-RRM related signal that may be multiplexed with the RRM related signal onto a symbol. The first reception path may be a first antenna port of an antenna panel or a first antenna panel of the UE and the second reception path may be a second antenna port of the antenna panel or a second antenna panel of the UE. The RRM related signal may include a reference signal for RRM. and may be included in a non-zero power (NZP) interference measurement.

In one example, a user equipment (UE) is configured for sidelink communication in a first unicast pair that includes the UE and a second UE. The UE includes a memory and one or more processors coupled to the memory. The one or more processors are configured to, when executing instructions stored in the memory, cause the UE to receive a message providing notification of sidelink communication between the UE and the second UE, and in response, perform sidelink communication of first sidelink data using a first transmit (TX) beam associated with the first unicast pair or a first receive (RX) beam associated with the first unicast pair.
