Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for latency reduction of device-to-device message in a wireless communication system. In one embodiment, the method includes the UE receiving a grant on a first interface wherein the grant indicates resource for transmitting scheduling information and resources for data transmission on a second interface. The method also includes the UE transmitting a first scheduling information on the second interface in a first specific timing interval and transmits a second scheduling information on the second interface in a second specific timing interval, wherein the timing difference between the second specific timing and the first specific timing is indicated by the grant, and wherein the first scheduling information indicates a first timing offset between the first scheduling information transmission and the data transmission, and the second scheduling information indicates a second timing offset between the second scheduling information transmission and the data transmission, and the first timing offset is different from the second timing offset.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed. In an example, a first user equipment (UE) may be configured with a first number of carriers corresponding to a maximum number of carriers that the first UE is able to use concurrently and/or transmit on concurrently. The first UE may receive a plurality of sidelink transmissions on a plurality of carriers. The first UE may derive a plurality of slots for transmitting Physical Sidelink Feedback Channels (PSFCHs) based upon resources associated with the plurality of sidelink transmissions. Responsive to determining that a number of carriers of a second plurality of carriers associated with derived transmissions of the PSFCHs exceeds the first number of carriers, the first UE may prioritize one or more PSFCHs of the PSFCHs based upon a rule. The plurality of slots for transmitting the PSFCHs may be at least partially overlapped in the time domain.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a User Equipment (UE). In one embodiment, the method includes the UE being served and/or configured with a first cell and a second cell. The method also includes the UE transmitting a beam failure recovery request via a PRACH (Physical Random Access Channel) in the second cell in response to the UE detecting that all links associated with monitored control resource set(s) in the second cell have failed. Furthermore, the method includes the UE transmitting a first report via a PUCCH (Physical Uplink Control Channel) in the second cell in response to the UE detecting that all links associated with monitored control resource set(s) in the first cell have failed.

The method further includes the first device determining a sidelink feedback resource associated with the sidelink transmission at least based on the identifier and a source ID (Identity) associated with the sidelink transmission. In addition, the method includes the first device using the sidelink feedback resource to transmit a feedback in response to the sidelink transmission to the second device.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a first User Equipment (UE). Furthermore, the method includes the first UE transmitting a SCI (Sidelink Control Information) and the TB on the first resource in a slot to a second UE, wherein the SCI indicates the first resource and the second resource.
