摘要: A method and an apparatus for determining a time offset are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining, by a device at a head end, a time-domain signal based on a received signal; and then determining a time offset based on values of peak-to-average ratios of a preset quantity of symbols starting from a qth symbol in the time-domain signal, where a peak-to-average ratio of the qth symbol is greater than a preset threshold. A new method for determining a time offset is provided, and takes advantages that the time-domain signal obtained by the device at the head end has stronger capabilities of resisting interference such as frequency offset and phase noise. The method for determining a time offset can be applied both to initial ranging and periodic ranging.

摘要: A timing advance determining method and a device are provided. In the method, a network device determines, based on a correspondence between a parameter set and a TA granularity, TA information used by a terminal on an occupied frequency domain resource, where the parameter set includes a subcarrier spacing and a cyclic prefix type of a symbol; the network device sends the TA information to the terminal; and the terminal determines, based on the correspondence between a parameter set and a TA granularity, a TA granularity corresponding to the frequency domain resource occupied by the terminal, and determines, based on the TA granularity and the TA information, a TA value used by the terminal on the occupied frequency domain resource.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a user equipment, a network side device, and a method for sending a DPCCH, which relate to the field of communications, so as to implement that the network side device knows a moment at which a DPCCH is sent and a DPCCH is periodically sent. Solutions provided in the embodiments of the present invention include: receiving indication information sent by the network side device by using the user equipment; activating a second carrier of DC-HSUPA according to the indication information; acquiring uplink DTX parameters; and periodically sending an uplink DPCCH on the second carrier of the DC-HSUPA according to the indication information and the uplink DTX parameters. The present invention is used to send a DPCCH.
