    摘要: A differential STBC transmitting/receiving apparatus in a multiple antenna system using eight or less transmit antennas is provided. In the differential STBC transmitting apparatus, a symbol mapper receives binary data and generates a number of symbols from the binary data, each symbol having a number of bits. A space-time block encoder generates an STBC by encoding the symbols. A differential processor differentially encodes the STBC through feedback and delay. A distribution matrix processor substitutes the differentially coded STBC into a distribution matrix preset according to the number of transmit antennas, and outputs the differential STBC code of the distribution matrix to the transmit antennas.

A full subcarrier band allocable for one cell is divided into a plurality of subcarrier regions. Subcarriers selected from subcarriers existing in one of the plurality of subcarrier regions are allocated for each of a plurality of sectors constituting the cell. The subcarriers are allocated such that subcarriers existing in different subcarrier regions are allocated for neighboring sectors in the cell.

In the method, transmission (TX) signals are classified into at least one of a control signal, a broadcast signal and a signal requiring a short latency, and other user signal by considering the types of the TX signals. A band of a frequency lower than a reference frequency among the multiple bands is allocated to a signal classified as at least one of the control signal, the broadcast signal and the signal requiring a short latency. A band of a frequency higher than the reference frequency is allocated to a signal classified as the other user signal.
