摘要: Aspects are described for use in wireless communications. Almost blank subframes may be employed in communications via a primary cell and a secondary cell of a base station. A wireless device may receive an indication of first measurement resources for the secondary cell and an indication of second measurement resources for the secondary cell. The wireless device may transmit first channel state information and second channel state information for the secondary cell. Cross carrier scheduling may be employed such that, during a time period that cross carrier scheduling is configured and the second carrier is activated, when the first carrier enters an almost blank subframe the second carrier also enters an almost blank subframe.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method of forming a virtual cell in a heterogeneous network, a macro base station and a transmission point device. At a macro base station, terminal devices and transmission points cooperating with the macro base station in a macro cell of the macro base station are divided into at least a first set of devices and a second set of devices based on positions of the terminal devices and positions of the transmission points, the first set of devices and the second set of devices being adjacent and non-over-lapping and each including at least one of the transmission points and at least one of the terminal devices. For a target terminal device in the first set of devices, channel state information between the target terminal device and the transmission points in the first set of devices and in the second set of devices is acquired. A power constraint for the transmission points is determined based on the channel state information, and based on the power constraint, at least one of the transmission points is selected for the target terminal device from the first set of devices to construct a virtual cell. Thereby, an interference coordination scheme is achieved which enhances the network performance while realizing low transmission signaling overhead and computational costs, and thus a construction of a virtual cell for the terminal device is facilitated.

摘要: A distributed antenna and backhaul system provide network connectivity for a small cell deployment. Rather than building new structures, and installing additional fiber and cable, embodiments described herein disclose using high-bandwidth, millimeter-wave communications and existing power line infrastructure. Above ground backhaul connections via power lines and line-of-sight millimeter-wave band signals as well as underground backhaul connections via buried electrical conduits can provide connectivity to the distributed base stations. An overhead millimeter-wave system can also be used to provide backhaul connectivity. Modules can be placed onto existing infrastructure, such as streetlights and utility poles, and the modules can contain base stations and antennas to transmit the millimeter-waves to and from other modules.
