Abstract: A method for eliminating misjudgment of a reflective light applied to an autonomous robot is provided. The autonomous robot includes a driving system and an optical sensing system that includes a light source and a light sensor. The light source emits a transverse linear light as detection light and the light sensor senses reflective light signals from an object that reflects the detection light. In the method, a frame image including the reflective light signals is captured by the light sensor, characteristics of the reflective light signals are analyzed, and the characteristics of the reflective light signals can be corrected based on the characteristics of previous reflective light signals stored in a memory of the autonomous robot in order to exclude abnormal information. The object can be confirmed based on the corrected characteristics of reflective light signals. The misjudgment caused by the abnormal information can therefore be eliminated.

Abstract: A liquid providing system of detecting a target container includes a main body, a holder, an optical sensor and an operational processor. The main body has a supporting platform. The holder is disposed on the supporting platform, and the holder is made by low reflectivity material and adapted to hold the target container. The optical sensor is disposed above the supporting platform and adapted to output a detection image containing the target container and the holder. The operational processor is electrically connected to the optical sensor, and adapted to analyze the detection image and then acquire an effective feature inside the detection image for distinguishing the target container from the holder.

Abstract: There is provided a mobile robot that controls an exposure time of an optical sensor during a time interval during which images of a gap between tiles are captured. At an end of the time interval that an image of a gap between tiles is captured, the exposure time of the optical sensor is adjust to the exposure time being used right before the time interval to avoid high brightness of the captured image while the image of a gap between tiles is suddenly disappeared from a field of view of the optical sensor.
