摘要: Endoscope window assembly designs and methods of assembling sub-millimeter imaging endoscopes are disclosed. An endoscope apparatus comprises an elongated cylindrical probe having rotating illumination optics in the middle and at least one detection fiber and a spectrometer connected to the detection fiber and a light source connected to the illumination optics and a processor for imaging. An optically transparent window is attached to the cylindrical probe at the distal end thereof, the window seals the rotating illumination optics inside the cylindrical probe, and the at least one detection fiber is located on the outer surface of the cylindrical probe. The present disclosure provides various embodiments of a window component that covers only the illumination component of the optical probe. Endoscope embodiments where the window component covers only the illumination component eliminate or significantly reduce exposure of detection fibers to reflected illumination light without blocking a light collection optical path.

摘要: An endoscopic probe extending from a proximal end to a distal end thereof, and configured to be inserted in a tubular lumen to observe a sample is disclosed. The probe includes a first waveguide enclosed within an inner sheath and extending from the proximal end to the distal end along an axis of the inner sheath; and a plurality of second waveguides having at least the distal ends thereof arranged in one or more rings around the inner sheath to surround the distal end of the first waveguide. At the distal end, the axis of each of the second waveguides is tilted with respect to the axis of the first waveguide by a tilt angle which can be adjustable. This novel endoscopic probe has a resultant numerical aperture larger than the numerical aperture of each of the second waveguides, and it may be applicable to forward-viewing spectrally encoded endoscopes (SEE).

摘要: A control system controls an endoscope probe in manual mode or robot mode. The system comprises a handle attached to the probe; a portable display controller connectable to the handle; a robotic controller in communication with the handle and/or the portable display controller; and a support platform to which the probe and the portable device controller are attachable according to control mode. In manual mode, the handle is detached from the platform and connected to the portable display controller such that the probe is manually navigated to a first position inside a lumen. In robot mode, the handle is attached to the platform such that the robotic controller cooperates with the handle to robotically navigate the probe to a second position inside the lumen. The portable display controller includes a control section for manipulating the probe and a display section for displaying images of the lumen acquired in both modes.

摘要: An injection molding system includes an injection molding apparatus that performs injection molding with a die and a conveyor apparatus on one side of the injection molding apparatus that inserts the die into the injection molding apparatus, where the conveyor apparatus includes an actuator connectable to the die. The injection molding system also includes a die detection unit that detects the conveyed die, an actuator detection unit that detects a state of the actuator, and a controller that controls the conveyor apparatus to prohibit a conveying operation of the die based on detection results by the die detection unit and the actuator detection unit.

摘要: An image processing apparatus is provided and includes one or more processors and a memory storing instructions. The one or more processors are controlled to receive image stream data captured by an image capturing apparatus and store, in memory, a current image frame from the received image stream data and store, in memory, a previously received image frame from the received image stream data. The previously received image frame having been received at a time earlier than the current image data frame. Using the previously received image frame data stored in memory, a compensation value representing an illumination spectrum of the previously stored image frame data is calculated and image correction is performed on the current image frame data using the calculated compensation value. The corrected current image frame for display on a display device.
