Abstract:
A multi purpose fluid container for an integrated makeup kit, particularly an integrated nail makeup kit, nail polish, a polish applicator brush, nail file, nail polish remover solvent, and nail polish remover pads are combined in a convenient size and shape for facile transport in a modestly sized purse or handbag, but which can quickly and easily be separated into a nail polish applicator bottle with brush, a nail file, and a jar containing a plurality of nail polish remover pads saturated with solvent. When separated, the bottles and jar can rest on a flat surface, or be readily held in one's hand, such that the bottles and jar can be used independently of each other, in any sequence or order, without danger of spillage or contamination, and the nail file can be utilized independently from the bottle and jar.
Abstract:
Nail polish remover strips are pre-sized for toe or fingernails and applied to a painted or artificial nail and left thereon for a predetermined period of time to dissolve the nail polish and/or nail bonding agent. Preferably a color change occurs to depict the appropriate dwelling time to dissolve the nail polish. Certain embodiments include odor reducing components. Preferably the strips are layered composites having an exterior odor impervious material, a layer of encapsulated acetone or nail polish removing agent, an absorbent layer, and a peelable backing, with the strips being curved to accommodate contact with a person's nail.
Abstract:
A cosmetic applicator construction that includes a distributable sampling packet that is affixable to a carrier substrate, such as a mailing card or printed publication, to permit distribution of the sampling packet to an end location for use thereat by an individual user. The cosmetic applicator construction is suitable for use in the mailing of cosmetic samples in separate mailers or the provision thereof on or within a printed publication and includes a sampling packet, which is preferably a two-ply card, and an underlying release liner. The upper ply of the sampling packet includes an embossed field formed on the underside of the upper ply, disposed between the upper ply and the lower ply, and configured to hold a cosmetic sample. The sampling packet is attachable to the mailer or printed publication for distribution to the end location and the upper ply of the sampling packet with its embossed field is thereafter removable from the lower ply at the end location to permit individualized and personal use thereof by the user as an applicator portion for the application of a sample of a cosmetic product.
Abstract:
A cosmetic device for applying makeup onto the lip area. The cosmetic device includes a top layer. The top layer includes a cosmetic applicator. The cosmetic device also includes a bottom layer aligned with and attached to the top layer. The top and bottom layers are attached in a two-dimensional manner so as to seal the cosmetic applicator and a product area between the top and the bottom layer.
Abstract:
A dual purpose fluid container for an integrated makeup kit, particularly an integrated nail makeup kit, wherein the nail polish, polish applicator brush, nail polish remover solvent, and remover pads are combined in a device that is easily carried in a modestly sized purse or handbag, but which can quickly and easily be separated into a conventional nail polish applicator bottle with brush, and a jar containing numerous nail polish remover pads saturated with solvent. When separated, each of the bottle and jar can rest on a flat surface, or be held in one's hand, such that each can be used independently of the other, in any sequence or order, without danger of spillage or mutual contamination. In one embodiment, a removable cover is positionable to separate the remover pads from external environments, including the nail polish applicator bottle when the bottle and jar are attached.
Abstract:
A disposable fluid applicator having a reservoir with a first membrane and a second membrane. Said reservoir containing a fluid to be dispensed. Said first membrane of the reservoir having perforations and being covered by a permeable and/or absorbent spreader. A removable tab assembly is disposed between said spreader and said first membrane of the reservoir that seals said reservoir. When the tab is pulled from between said spreader and said first membrane of the reservoir the reservoir becomes unsealed allowing the fluid contained inside the reservoir to flow out through an opening in the first membrane into and through the spreader where the fluid can be applied to a desired surface.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for applying at least one product at a de-sired place or spot. The device comprises several layers, where an impermeable top layer (1) and an impermeable bottom layer (4) will form the outer surfaces of the device, between which two outer surfaces a storage layer (3) and a contact layer (2) are arranged. The bottom layer (4), storage layer and contact layer (2) are welded together inside their edges to form a closed storage chamber (10) for the product and further being connected (6) around their common edges, where at least a part of the bottom layer (4) outside and around the closed storage chamber (10) is cut away, in order to create a device with soft edges.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a hair treatment agent-holder 1A which is a holder impregnated with a hair treatment agent to hold the same therein, and the holder is provided with a base material 3 capable of being impregnated with the hair treatment agent to hold the same therein, detachably attached to hair styling means for styling hair, and formed to enable the outflow of the hair treatment agent. There can be provided a hair treatment agent-holder which facilitates hair-surface conditioning by the hair treatment agent and promotes the penetration of the hair treatment agent into the hair to achieve a treatment effect, a hair styling device, and a hair styling method. It becomes possible not only to easily handle the hair treatment agent but also to improve a workability.

Abstract:
A skin-covering sheet for impregnation with a cosmetic preparation according to the present invention includes a non-woven fabric in which a splittable conjugate fiber containing at least two components as viewed in fiber cross-section, namely a polyethylene component and another polymer component, and a hydrophilic fiber are blended, and hydroentangled. The conjugate fiber is partially split and includes a polyethylene ultrafine fiber having a fineness of 0.6 dtex or less. A face mask according to the present invention includes the skin-covering sheet for impregnation with a cosmetic preparation impregnated with 500 to 2000 mass % of a liquid containing a cosmetic preparation. It is therefore possible to obtain a skin-covering sheet for impregnation with a cosmetic preparation and a face mask that have good impregnating ability of a cosmetic liquid into the sheet layer, cause very little irritation to the skin, and are soft in texture.
